I assume that currently PKs do not get to loot gold when they kill someone (just a stack of items that isn't equipped or in storage)...
In that case, this could add an interesting 'hard-core' aspect to PKing. I fear though, that too many new players might not fully understand the system and be robbed blind of all their hard earned cash and flat out quit the game.
It certainly would make one consider the logistics of transporting gold - perhaps forcing players to even move money in groups. I'd be on the fence about that, though. Logistics already seems to be a minor issue in the game.
Overall I probably would not enjoy this. Money seems to take awhile to build up in this game. And not everyone is anxious to pay real cash for TC's. Like I said, a single PK could throw someone over the edge. Perhaps a small % of the money that a player has would be more appropriate, and forget the storage?
Say 5-10% of the gold someone has... That could add up pretty quick for a PK. Alas I obviously have no PvP experience in this game... If it were a little less risky (and annoying for other players) I might eventually give it a go. High risk/reward has it's place, but in my humble opinion the mechanics of this game don't fit.
Any PK system is delicate... As it stands, I honestly don't see why on earth anyone would actually become a PK - It seems like way too much risk and not enough reward. I can only imagine the perma-death of a long investment.
Sorry, got a little side tracked. Overall an interesting idea, but make it fair for the little guys, too... I believe that unchecked PvP can make or break a game.
