V 1.146 error

I just restarted my browser.. and I am getting a java app error with firefox and IE... I am from East Coast

Clear your cache/temporary internet files and restart your browser. If that doesnt work post any error text you have by loading the java console.

fixed.... if you guys are having the same problem... the updated version of java is required...

Applet does not load in any browser. My OS & Java Version do not work with nodiatis, as discussed in earlier threads. I was comfortable playing the game with 9 clients until 30 minutes ago using java 1.6 update 7 on opensuse 11.0.

It's not an issue to clear the cache, as I have tried loading the game with browsers I've never used to log into nod.

Frankly I'm annoyed that every update that forces me to use the latest java makes that I can't play the game. Resulting in hours of troubleshooting, going through a bunch of FAQ's & forums, to find the proper tweak. Once it works again I get used to a certain way of playing (3 alts, more, whatever) and then all in a sudden that no longer works. I understand that in my case it's because I choose not to use a microsoft OS.

Bottomline is that every improvement seems to cause more trouble than its doing good

But I'm just gonna leave it the way it is, gonna have dinner and will have another look at it later.

v1.148 will only access the west coast graphics server if you check the box. This will fix the problem some people were having with the game not working due to security access issues. Clear your temporary internet files or cache and restart your web browser to make sure you're using the new client if you're still having problems.

got it working
it was a rather bogus security setting in linux, not immediately linked to java. thats why even with the latest java update i was not able to log into client 1.148.

Now just have to tweak the memory handling as i did a complete re-install.
