Favorite Things
There has been so very much negativity floating around the land of Nod recently, I thought it would be nice to have a bright corner of positivity in which to curl up and smile.
Some simple things that I find lovely:
Strange Brew-- Best. Hamlet. Evah.
A good book
Sleeping out doors
Comfy green knee socks
What are some things that make you happy?

It makes me happy when I can eat fresh baby seals.
A good loud fart & burp after a good dinner is awesome.
Nothing beats the smell of fresh vomit on the sheets in the morning after a night out in the bar.

Guess no one wants to feel warm and fuzzy but I.
No matter, here is something else that makes me happy, my favorite poem.
The Peace of Wild Things; Wendell Berry
When despair for the world grows in me
and I wake in the night at the least sound
in fear of what my life and my children's lives may be,
I go and lie down where the wood drake
rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds.
I come into the peace of wild things
who do not tax their lives with forethought
of grief. I come into the presence of still water.
And I feel above me the day-blind stars
waiting with their light. For a time
I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.

Shampoo that makes my hair smell really good afterwards
Things in miniature form.
Foriegn foods.
Reading, writing, drawing, anyhting artsy crafty
The salty smell of the beach as you are driving up to it
Beating a guy in video games after he's sworn up and down a girl can't do it
Beating a guy in -anything- that he swears a girl can't do
Colorful socks
Soft fuzzy animals
making someone else smile

When i start fishing at 6pm and dont stop fishing until 2am, and catch a truckload of fish.
Flaming threads on the forum, making stoopid hypocritical poeple looks even more stoopid and hypocritical.
hardcore sex that lasts for hours with my wife, and being raped by my wife.
*agrees with Ferrec* Sleeping outdoors is much more relaxing, as long as you dont have mosquitos biting you all night.
Spending time with my daughter, making her laugh and smile.
has anyone mentioned playing Nod? well i just did.
Violence
chaos
destruction
blowing things up / seeing things get blown up.
Being number 1 most expierenced player in Nod (tops list)
A huge burp after drinking a few beers, thats such a relief sometimes.
Shooting guns, of any type.
Thats pretty much it.. or.. thats all i can think of right now.

Milf my pet, you really need to stop getting squelched so much. Seems to be affecting your *ahem* motivations, dear.
And just because....more fun socks. Because of all things on this earth, if I can have a good poem to dissect and fun comfy socks, I want for nothing.
Oh, and gin. Have to have gin.
