Permabanned?

Ok now Jeff, you permabanned me for "making a joke" which I did not do. I was being serious, I really did make an account named *****, which just as bad as some of the other accounts.

Now onto the serious part.

You permabanned me on the first strike, much harsher than what other people have received. Not only that I am squelched for 1440 minutes. Why don't you take the time to go through all of the messages you go through for reports and permaban them too? On top of that why don't you go and give them squelches? Why?

Jeff, this is serious crap, I am not afraid to admit it. Sexyy was completely in the wrong, not to mention she has broken the rules before, so I have no complaints there. But my complaint is you just can't seem to be fair can you? All of these jokers in Civil making all of these jokes all the time and bypassing the filter WHILE you are ON, and I make one joke and I get permabanned and squelched for 1440 minutes?

I ask you to elaborate.

While we're on a serious note. You've always been one of the most unhelpful, adolescent, and self absorbed people in the game. Seriously, did you expect it to be funny to name an account *****?? Maybe think you'd be ladled cool by all of the, seemingly idiotic, people following you over in civil?

Just after I joined, and was even noobier than I am now I asked a few questions in civil. You're the first one to be a jackass about it and lay all your clever little quips, or so you thought at the time, on me. You're thinking to yourself right now, wtf? Who is Boomstick, I didn’t make fun of him. Well, trust me you do it so often I am actually sure you don't remember.

This might teach you a lesson. Eat some humble pie. Help others. Create good Karma. Do all of that instead of complain while deflecting blame onto others, and perhaps that could show Jeff that you mean business. You did not help your case by posting that little rant!

Apparently only a select few who complains and sends screen shots to jeff are the main reasons for getting banned/squelched from civil I've noticed a trend going on for some time now more and more players getting away with comments that should not be tolerated in civil chat and what happend to you sherman just confirms it. Now in uncivil chat the supposed "no rules" channel has rules, why else would someone get squelched from it? Jeff if you read this PLEASE clarify and update the "no rules" policy for uncivil chat, and PLEASE post them so that everyone can read them.

Is there a three strike rule before getting permabanned? If not, I think it's a tad harsh to permaban straight off.

Boom, you are speaking from one particular point, and yes I remember you. I am often a douche and a perve among other things. BUT SO ARE A LOT OF THE OTHER CIVIL MEMBERS. I am not trying to only think of myself. I am using what happened to me as a sign of the load of BS Jeff pulls. I also tend to help people a lot, I help them with quests, questions, and other things. Heck, I have even given people 5k before, when that was all I had.

I have done a lot of things, and so have others. Yet, it seems only a select few are ever punished for something that wasn't as bad compared to a bunch of other things that go on.

From what you imply, you are in civil a lot, so you should be able to give a firsthand account of what exactly goes on, and that what I do is nothing to what constantly goes on. I never bypassed the filter, ***** is never filtered, so technically, I shouldn't be punished for bypassing.

I have seen a bunch of crap here on the forums that is deserving of bans and much worse, but yet that never happens. Why? Because those people hang out with Jeff's favorites. I can name over 50 people right now that are just like me, and worse. In civil there are constantly filter bypasses, political debates, name calling, and tons of other things. These things go on when Jeff is on, yet when I make a joke Jeff comes on 2 seconds later and I am permabanned and squelched for 12 hours.

I am calling favoritism, prejudice, and BS on this.


Edit: As Jaseas said, there are tons of things that go on, even when Jeff is on, that don't get punished. I know he sees them >.>, yet he does nothing. But when a select few people do something, he gets them on their first time. From what I have seen as well, he gets on 5 seconds after the infraction and they are permabanned. This seems to imply that Jeff has some sort of secret alt in place to watch civil for a select few. Or, it's just the people that insult skinless.

C'mon Jeff, while you are out doing God knows what, we have tons of innuendos and other things in Civil chat going on. You could have a ball dealing out permabans and squelches right now. Guess what? I bet you wouldn't even give those others even a tenth of what you gave me.
