I don't think that Slowdive, Bladehawke, and peterraul comprehend the whole range of what this 'experiment' entails.
I'm sure there are test servers for functionality testing and chat channel improvements and such, if this 'experiment' is for that.
In my opinion, this 'experiment' seems more social and pyschologically oriented, or Jeff heeding the whinging of those who pay 1000s of $ in the upper echelons, who can't seem to turn chat off.
I've had chat off for extended periods of time. Sometimes for 3-4 consecutive weeks.
What it boils down to is this, that 'Man is a social animal', and No Chat Tuesdays goes against the basic posits of HCI and interaction within an online community

lol I understand just fine tyvm. The main chat isn't the only place to get your chat fix. Heck, I've actually done literally idk 10x? the chatting since the day started. If Jeff is just headin the whiney bishes who are too retarded to click the chats off what good does turning it off for 1 day do when there's 6 more days that they still have to deal w/? Yes I know some of you have the need to chat in Civil or Uncivil. I'm friends w/ some of you. Sry this is going on. I'm sure there's some reason for it besides Jeff just wanting to piss you guys off. Also, I'm sure there's plenty of chatty ppl who pay just as much as the ppl who whine about too much chatting going on so imo thats a moot point.

It's pointless it's a waste it bogs down my left side chat bar it restricts who i can talk with and it's boring. the only reason i paid in the begining was to get a face for chat. the reason i log on so often is to talk in chat. Now. I can't chat. theres many people i enjoy talking to that i jsut don't remember their sn's or i just don't have the room for on my buddies list. and now icna't enjoy a massive conversation with a lot of people because I"m not going to jsut randomly add people into my Clan. thats dumb. and stupid. And Okay whatever Mayeb he is doing some test thing, but he could at -least- tell us the Point.
