I can't see how this lack of chat can benefit the game at all...

the N's can't ask questions the new players can't get help. Getting a solo group is pot luck.

what is the purpose of the silence any way? Are we all been punished?

i think that JEFF is tryin 2 see what percent of ppl will still be on playin without chat 2day (to measure the impact it has)..

also, this may get players in more of a habit of pm'ing more and eventually slow down the main chat, thus reducin the need for a 2nd, or 3rd chat window in game

Maybe we are being punished by Jeff because he got sick of hearing really stupid conversations......or it could be just a plain old test....maybe he is trying to fix the sever? I say let Jeff do this and get it over with...XD
