Newb Sticky

I have realized that many players often whine and complain about people not reading the forums. I however have noticed that not everything is answered in forums or is found online.

My suggestion is simple, make a thread(sticky) that has FAQs, beginning guide, explanation to all classes, and links to threads/websites with additional information. This will make Nodiatis more neophyte friendly. Instead of clicking through page after page of posts...all answers will be in one organized place.

Discuss, also start posting FAQs and other information to be used. All providers should be recognized and given credit, however small the contribution.

this would be pretty helpful, when i'm on a lot helping random people out i sometimes get lots of questions on stuff like tradeskills (hunting/fishing/skinning/etc.) which i can't give much advice on simply because i don't do any tradeskills, not only for tradeskills but for all things a thread like this could be pretty helpful to beginners on the game.

I appreciate any and all criticism, constructive criticism, insults, complaints, and whiners, but please only use this thread for the adding of information that is helpful in the compilation of this sticky. You can do the aforementioned in your posts that include information.

^a website i've helped with some that has lists of boss locations, enemy hp, my trophy crafting recipes (pm me in-game and i can answer any trophy crafting questions) and other stuff.

I won't be organizing the sticky, I don't have the time. But if no one else posts here saying they are working on it, I will work on it in my spare time and on the weekends.

What is the point of multiplying the sites like that all the time ?

No offence, but this site is not even half complete, content is copied from some other sites, contains lots of commercials, has lots of spelling mistakes for example:

Article "how to make mony.
.....
5.buy items low price and sell high like buy a timecard 45k and then sell 50k.

6.win the lottery and buy the whole game/and if you do this one rember me.

7.marry a admin or high level player."

Dont you love those advises ? Now...hmmm which one to use first....mmm..


Honestly, why not join forces with some other sites ? I know of 2 sites on wiki, one on some free webs, another one is flashus, the other one is doug's. All these sites and links to them can be easily found through forum search or in signatures of the mentioned players.

Look at flashus for example ? He dedicated his site to crafting and is trying to update it as frequent as possible.

Uniting the forces with similiar sites and using the forums information provided in help sections and answers from Glitchless you can do finally a proper FAQ site instead of multiplying the exact same ones. And instead of trying to make a few cents on those banners and commercials or so I believe.

Didnt mean to sound too harsh, I support all good initiatives, just if it was done a slightly different way - it would've been much much greater.

Music, in my post I have stated that we would post a FAQ, with links to other sites. I never stated that the FAQ would be from Nodiatis only, nor did I state that we would not use other sites.

There would be a simplified version of helpful advice in the forums. The main help would be on another site, much more comprehensive, so as to prevent the clutter on this site. But yes music, that is a good suggestion.
