Lightbulb New Epic gems.

These are some of the suggestions I have for epic gems and how they should be made and how one should be able to come to use of them.

The Present EPIC gems are at the best, shoddy (not a soul uses them in PvP and I havent heard anyone using them in PvE.) And atop of that fact, one of these epic gems, in it's simple level, will run you 100k, + the two timecards, to buy the virtues that are NOT virtues that people normally require at that level.

For that reason, EPIC gems need an update. I see you folks over at Glitchless are already working on some, so I'll put in my 25 cents. :P

1.: New Magic.

There should be new magic types, known as the following:

Composite Psychology: This skill will effect the ability to use new epic GRAY gems. (Combination of Black Magic, and White magic) using this skill increases the amount of black, grey and white gems that you may hold in your gem pouch.

Every 3 levels = 1 extra gem. And starting at level 39: Every 5 Levels= 1 extra gem, this applies to ALL new skills (C.P. And M.M)

Mastery of Mischeif: This skill will effect new epic RED, BLACK, (and sometimes blue magic hybrid gems).

Joy of Nature: this will effect Green, Blue, and White magical gems.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------New Direct Magic:

Purple Magic: This consists (obviously) of red and blue magics.

Elite Gray Magic : A new more powerful form of gray magic has been discovered in Nodiatis, which gives access to skills that are of Gray's True Power.

Other new ideas as they pop in and out of my head (believe me, it happens);

Prereq: Level 9-?? Red, Purple, and Blue Magic, level 3 Mastery of Mischeif.
Virtues: Let's let Glitchless decide.
Energy Cost: 13. Mana Cost: 5
Damage: 1-15 (rank 1).
Delay: 7 Seconds
Special Effect: When this gem hits, it has a 10%(rank 1) chance to reduce an enemy (or multiple enemies) melee/ranged speed by 10%. It also has a 10 percent chance (rank 1) to cause a burn for 15 damge over 20 seconds.

Life Insurance Rank 1
(Cost)(Resale)
Prereq: Level 3 Joy of Nature, level 10 Green and White magic.
Virtues: Let Glitchless decide.
Energy Cost: 120 Mana Cost: 120
Delay, Effective when in play.
Effect: When you die, this gem gives you a (high) chance to be revived with 20-50% health, but however ALL of your mana and energy will be depleted in exchange for this. If you fail to have enough energy at the time the gem's effect comes into play, you may recieve even less of this effect.

Energy Cost: 100 Mana Cost:100
Delay, Once per Draw
Effect:. Chills the opponent and causes them to recieve 20 damage over 60 seconds and causes a 30% range and melee slow aura for 60 seconds

Damage: Target enemy is poisoned losing 30 over 25 secs
Special Effects: When enemy is succesfully poisoned, there is a 10% (rank 1) chance of enemy not being able to strike for 10 secs.

i dont like life insurance. makes angels, paladins, druids class only ability to resurrect null and void....

I'd like to thank all ye for making your suggestions on this here thread o mine, and Hopilus, perhaps we could give an alternative, after all it is an epic gem. It DOES NOT make being those classes null and void if there is a HEFTY price that comes along with life insurance, such as the restrictions i've already implemented, + the cost of the gem itself + virtues.

well hopilus, insurance only affects the person who has it in their active gem pouch. no one else. (ressurection affects other people) plus when you are revived, you are revived without mana and little hp (that is the case with insurance).

when i saw casters got new epic gem(s) i was surprised to see it was some simple nonsense such as a gem that shrinks your pouch. That's not epic in my opinion...and i shouldnt have to pay 10 dollars in timecards/120k in game money+ the cost of the item to make my gem pouch smaller.

Very creative Blood, I like these ideas. But I don't like the melee/range speed delay, it's annoying
