Sugg to balance archers

I think there should be a substitute for bows and quivers to balance the game.

I ll make it short and simple.

Instead of a bow, magic and melee users could equip gloves that would serve as an additional piece of armor. That means if you re an archer you cannot equip gloves since you re using that slot for your bow (which kind of make sense).

Instead of a quiver, magic and melee users could equip capes. That means you cant be an archer and have a cape since that slot is for the quiver. Capes would not give armor bonuses but rather stat bonuses.

In exchange, archers can equip staff with a 20% speed penalty, and the penalty for whips would disappear.

The purpose here is not to make archers weaker but to make everybody stronger in a way that is fair.

So what dy think?

well i can tell you archers or mages will never be allowed to equip a bow/arrow and a staff for the shear reason of being able to deal tons of damage at the begining of a fight(for mages) or have extra mana energy(for archers). it unbalances the 2 types of classes.

i do like the suggestion of the glove and cape as alternate equipment for the archer slots.

and yes this is in the wrong section.

I don't, at level 40 I was one of the strongest being an archer with all my stats high, now at lvl 42 as an extremely strong archer I am an average pvp player. Archers loose there touch without the stats that are "coming soon" so all I have to say is quit being so damn power hungry.

well - again - i disagree. wait till you are higher and see a 'good' archer, with the right skills and I'm sure you will change your mind. on top of that, the magic chars will be the very best in pvp if they level the right stats and are 'complete'

As it is, I would say only thing we need to make PvP, atleast fairly, even is all skills compleated (this includes Strikethrough), however the idea of gloves and capes are fun.

But. For everyone. Don't limite it to only Melee muppets, you have a lot of candy as it is.

Zenga, I may not be a lvl 60 or 70 archer but I can assure you I have my stats where they need to be. Ask Paster, Jon, or Tisoy about it. I do what I am supposed to. Maybe it will catch back up like I prolly have but its now because I am using the lvl 48 epic bow arrow and quiver.

ok i did nt see there was an idea and sugg section, ill repost this thread in the right section but in the meantime i ll answer some of the critics

I AM NOT TRYING TO NERF ARCHERS. it s also part of the proposition to compensate gloves and capes by an advantage of similar value. I proposed to remove the penalties from equiping whips or staves and bows at the same time. If you have a better idea then propose smg

These archer wankers will want epic scarf and epic wooly hat next...... gotta match same colour as the gloves though!
