Java update needed

Please, can we get the game updated so that it stops requiring the use of an old version of Java.
Please update the game, I am pretty sure this is why I am experiencing difficulties.

Also, last week you did a couple of updates in a row and ever since I have been experiencing consistant timeouts -- and what does in me action restrictions - what is that all about??

please help me figure this all out - because as it is - the game will not allow me to play online anymore

The client should not be forcing you to use an earlier version of Java, it is likely something to do with IE 8 that is causing you to use an older version which is not supporting the functionality necessary to run the game properly. You can try uninstalling all Java related programs from your computer then doing a clean install of the one you linked and perhaps that will prevent it from using a deprecated version.

my friend has the exact same client and IE version and he doesnt have the same issues

he and I will colaberate and get back to you on the issue ok
