Where to disable email notifications of new replies ...

... i feel noobish as I can't find the setting to stop this board from spamming my email inbox, everytime there is a follow up on a threat i subscribed to.

Should be simple imo, but couldn't find it.

try the following.

in your CP go to. edit options. default thread subscription mode. select do not subscribe.

That was the place to alter it ('no email notifications' from the drop down list, as I find the subscription mode handy, just not the mails). Weird that I didn't see it. Thanks for the hint.

It doesn't seem to stop the mails. Still get them. Might be cause they are older threads though.

In the User-CP window, on the toolbar on the left hand side, there is a section for subscribed threads. You can click 'List Subscriptions' and then change the notification options for the threads you are currently subscirbed to. This should take care of older threads

The default subsctription mode that you guys found will only affect new threads that you post in after making chanes there.
