Great ideas thread - Ideas only Opinions Elsewhere
This thread is stricly for posting your great ideas to imrpove the gameplay or game content. Please don't post opinions or comment on other peoples ideas or tell people they are retarded or anything. Maybe posting only ideas and reasons for such ideas will make it easier for Jeff to read the ideas without having to shuffle through people teling people they are stupid, whining, long-winded opinions, etc...
(I realize that being asked not to tell people their ideas suck is difficult for some of you, just keep it to yourself)
My Ideas are as follows:
1) Gem Pouches in the battle screen - this makes it easier in battle to switch gem pouches and more "life like". In a real life battle if I was a caster I would be able to simply put my hand in a different pouch as opposed to going through a few steps to change it.
2) Caster Specific Gems - Gems that only casters can use. They are pretty wimpy and a very tough and time consuming build. Maybe if there were some stronger caster specific gems to boost their attack power they wouldn't have to rely so much on their staff (which they shouldn't).
or...
Epic Direct Damage gems.
3) The Pit Of Eternity - I don't know if this is a reality. But I thought the Pit Of Eternity would lead to a whole new plane/map and basically double the size of an already impressive game. This would give players years of gameplay. Maybe a purchase like SoS in RWK would be needed for access.
4) The Battle Screen - Move the gems a bit so we can see what we are fighting, i'm sure those pictures didn't take 30 seconds to draw, so let's appreciate them.
5) More Music - There are two battle songs in game and different town music. The ones thatplayers hear the most are the battle songs (unless they camp), I guarantee you can find some musicians on this game (I am one) that could write you some short and compact battle songs in the same genre that you already have. Or create a choice of different genre's on login (Techno, Nod, Classical, etc) to choose from.

2)"More music". If more music is to be added, and you don't know what kind to add, i might add that Blackmore's Night has songs that would fit the theme very well. If you can't add their songs (which i'm sure would require some sort of purchase\license), at least you would know what kind of music would be apropriate for the game !

Here is an idea for the Clan system:
Let clans take owner ship of certain zones and collect interest from the Gold Collected in the zone into a central coffer which is dispursed through the clan evenly once a week.
How this will work:
There is an item on a monster in the zone that is non-sb that you can get as a drop. This item has to be held on one of the clan members in the zone and whoever holds it has to be online (let's call this a title). This tital can be taken through battle (cannot be put into storage) by other clans and the same rules apply.
If someone goes offline with the title, the title goes back into the monsters hands and has to be found again through drops.
POsitives: Clans get a little extra gold and this requires teamwork, and also requires PVP
Negatives: lvl 70's could hold the title pretty easily.
On the side of the negatives hopefully clans will have a lvl 70 or higher levels in them. If not, level up.

A skill that lets you up the amount of gem slots you can use in the battle screen. I just find that 6 isn't enough. Not a huge issue, but would make for some super phat stradegy.

Different Gem ideas:
Tri-combo gems: If you get 3 gems of different types out into the battle screen, it becomes a power gem which does 4 or 5 times the damage of the other 3 combined, which is then consumed. They could be the same gem in different ranks, or totally different gems altogether (and even different colours).
Once-per bout gems: A gem that might do 3 times as much damage as a normal gem, but can only be drawn once per bout.

Back to my zone title idea:
When light, dark, neutral is implimented, clans that choose to be light or dark can force on eachother without being in war, losing no RP and gaining nothing but the win...
Each zone will have a "title" drop on a mob, a clanny will be able to hold this drop in the zone as long as he doesn't leave. 5% of gold farmed by any clan person in that zone will go towards the title holders clan's Runepower. This title can be taken through light/dark forced combat, or will dissapear if the clanny leaves the zone.
Add any extra ideas to this...
