Default Thoughts on Dual Wielding

Here's a thought:

Archers cannot compete with dual wielders. Period. Most other classes are probably in the same boat.

Like. Not even close. At all. Ever. Seriously.

Ridiculous?

Ten bucks says the "no" responses are all dual wielders. Post why you agree/disagree.

Archers can easily beat dual-wielders. Doesn't matter if people use DW or not, a characters build will triumph over equipment [most of the time].

Had I not spent as much time/money on TC's to level to 60, I'd reroll this minute and be a dual wielder. Unfortunate.

Epicwolf, back when he was an archer.

So there you go, an archer beating a DW'er.

See, the build is the most important of all.

You didn't specify.

At lv. 26 actually vs. a 26 weaponsmaster.

I'm going to say this once more, the build is everything.

Just because Dual Wielders have an advantge in PVP does not diminish other classes abilities

For future reference, when posting your opinion, please state the level and class you, or anyone you are talking about, are.

a/ this discussion was hold extensively in another recent thread
b/ what if dw's are just better than archers in pvp? what if archers are better than beastmasters and bm's are better in duel than casters? it's how the game is designed and i don't see the prob with that
c/ i haven't seen any lvl 60 bow dude *yet* who's stats blow me away. so maybe there are just no good archers around for the moment.

I have to agree with that.

and i just want to know what you hope to accomplish with this thread?
Making Dual Wielders weaker?
or making archery stronger?

Evry class has an advantage, for archers i would say the best advantage is the Armor advantage, and being able to use a shield with a 2handed weapon.

Doesnt matter that it takes away 25% attack speed, you can solo bosses alot easier than us. and make much better tanks.

Angel level 20

Yes, I voted that they are more powerful, but the point is moot. Not everybody gets to be the big, dumb, tank who stands toe to toe with the mob. This game is patterned after every other fantasy game on the planet - JRR Tolkien's Lord of the Rings party system. Which D&D stole, which Forgotten Realms, stole, which, etc etc....

Nod has reduced the party to three: A tank (the big, dual-wielding oaf), a ranged/or detrimental caster, and a healer. If you want to be the brute, then pick a brute class.
I picked an angel because I like being the one who stands off to the side and keeps the tank alive. I like the challenge.

Choose the right class to suit your personality. What a boring world Nod would be if we were all the same....

DISCLAIMER: No Oafs or brutes were intended to be insulted in the posting of this message.

Wtf!!! Like seriously, Wtf?!!! Disclaimers don't work, quit using them.

Tank <> 'the big, dual wielding oaf'.

Being a dual wielder requires more brains than you think. It is more of a challenge than you think. We also have more finesse than you think.

Dual wielders are all about skill. Skill in stat distribution, skill in weapon and armor selection, and skill in knowing that we are the shock troops in Nod.

WE get the fking job done!! Faster..
