Default List Your Guild Feature Requests

We understand the importance of implementing a guild/clan system and want your input as to what features you would like to see the system actually have. Try not to repeat features already listed. Here are some examples:
  • Basic guild formation, invitation, and kicking
  • Guild wide chat
  • Ranks within the guild for promotion/demotion
  • Items to be held in guild vault that provide bonuses for all guild members

the ability to force combat on guild members that you have declared war on just to send them back to town. no looting.

8. Clans Power-ups/Special abilities.
this could have a whole host of special things available


i am going to add a few more things here.

Clan Char Classes = each can not have more that 1 class of char. thats means 26 players max.
each clan could consist of 1 type of each class available when creating your in game char.

to stop clans been too powerfull if your in game char is used. i think Clan chars should start all at lvl 1. these will be specific to the clans and only used during conflicts. this could be awkward for Jeff, but i'm not sure.

Chars only get XP from wars or battles.

Clan members can have single deuls against other clans members for XP. to prevent abuse only 1 fight is allowed per char against 1 specific clan. eg if i had a char Flashus WoN and there were 10 clans i could only challenge 1 char from each clan per month.

Starting a Clan
1. A leader is nominated to supply Jeff with a list of in game chars that wish to be in their clan.
2. They supply Jeff with their name and Tag.
3. Each player is then randonly assigned a Char.
4. In game chars get a Tag applied to their name.
5. A clan does not need 26 players to start.

Clan Battles
1 vs 1
3 vs 3
clan vs clan

1v1 messages This can be along the lines of
Flashus WoN "Defended his Clans honor". if i won when i was attacked.
Flashus WoN "Bowed to the superior might of PKoN". if i lost when attacked.
Flashus WoN "Sweeps all before him" if i won when i attacked someone.
Flashus WoN "Brings Shame upon his Clan" if i lost when i attacked somone.

3vs3 messages
WoN Patrols "Ambush and Defeat PKoN Scouts" when attacking clan wins.
WoN Patrols "Surrender and Beg for Mercy from PKoN Scouts" when attacking clan loses.

Clan vs Clan
WoN "Forces Rush Forward and Decimate All Before them" when attacking clan wins.
WoN "Forces Bow their Heads in Shame and Carry their Wounded Home" when attacking clan loses.

i know i said paying and free player could interact within the clan but maybe it wouldn't be possible with the current game dynamics.
I think this might be too much for the current game as we all could go into loads and loads of what would be cool.
so this got me thinking what about a Clan Server, and which way it could work or seem enticing for players.

Clan Server
Lets say $50 per year per char.
This would give 30mins RT a day.
wait before you all start screaming about it's free in the current game. i know but your free playing on your own. no auction no trade.
Clan server wouldn't have these restrictions. That is why you only get 30min as you are playing for your clan and not just yourself.

i'm sure there would probably be some out there that would just prefer the Clan Side of things.
This could be a future project for you Jeff.

26 players in a clan is $1300 per year per clan
10 clans would be $13000

i don't think 10 clans would be that hard to fill. there would even be smaller ones not fully maxed with chars.


as i think of more i will add. probably a waste of time but worth a try suggesting. keeps my mind ticking over. helps offset Alzheimer’s.

Flashus, I'm not willing to make a new character just to join a guild.

And

Those two I fervently disagree with.

I'd like ranks, giving the clan leader the option to promote people giving them such a rank as to be able to invite people themselves.

Clan wars would be very important.

And I'd hate to see limitations to the number of people allowed in a single clan, having overpowered clans drives people to make their own small clans to overthrow the large ones.

i like the clan specific skills, maybe jeff could come up with a bunch of skills and let each clan pick one (or one set) then we could have specialized clans. or instead of skills some sort of bonus (just like our class bonus) and then some skills that increase the bonus (just like class enhancement). should be easy enough to implement.

You can hardly keep up with your current skills and you want more?

Personally the foremost off the top of my head for me are:

a) Reduced or no tax when trading amongst clannies.
b) Clan hometowns. Many to One relationship i.e. many clans can have T2 as a hometown. Priority is based on clan member size and limit the number of clans that can occupy the same town. Allows for monopoly of trade and future conflict for seizure of towns thru clan wars.
c) Clan outposts. Same as for hometowns yet can have more clans per outpost. Again, allows for more trade in remote areas and conflict as well. More conflict/trade = more dough for Glitchless

Ok, when creating a guild or clan you should have to go to Town 1 and talk to the Seer. You must be level 5+ to create a Guild/Clan. It will cost 10k to start the clan, you will have to set up a few options such us Home Town ( read more ), Clan Name, Clan Tags, and etc. Clan symbols, and colors.

Home towns. The guild/clan and its bonuses such as the guild/clan vault, and member list and etc should not be accessible in every town. So when creating your clan you should have the option of setting the clan to 1 of three places. Castille, Stronhad, or Fenelia at no charge. Than later on you may go to your clans home town to change it to another town,

Changing to either Stronhad, Castille, or Fenelia no matter your clan homes current town it is set at will be the base price of 10k.

Moving to :

Town 4 : 15k
Town 5 : 20k
Town 6 : 25k
Town 7 : 30k and etc, going up 5k per town.



The creator must put in the first 10k gold to create the guild/clan. Your members can than go to your clans home set town and donate items to the vault or gold to the Clan bank. I don't think the gold should be taxed when donating into the clans bank. Money can not be retrieved from the bank, but you can buy items from the stores in your town ( Only non epics ) and the items will be transferred into the clan vault. Which can be some how given to clan members who need upgrading.

When moving your town after creating it for the first time, the gold will not be taken from the leaders own money, instead the gold will be used from the clan bank.

The clan bank gold should be able to buy other clan items etc for all members. For example, maybe a new cape slot/ glove slot/ boot slot, that are for clan items only?

Cape Level 1 / Gloves Level 1 / Boots Level 1 - Will cost 500 gold for all members. What determines what level items you can wear maybe a new guild/clan skill section or just a few skills? or even just your suiting level.

The money to buy the Clan items ( boots. gloves, capes, as well as any other clan items that may be introduced into the game ) ( by the way the gloves and boots will be soul bound non trade able and will be the color of your clan colors. Your cape will have your clans symbol displayed on it as well as your clans colors, also soul bound and not tradeable) will come from your own pocket. From the Clan Store.

There will be another section into the game Guild/Clan, when entering that it will have maybe a few stores and other things to do, such as a spot Alliances and Enemies which can be viewed by clan members.

To join a clan you must be level 5 +.

Maybe more to add, let me know if any of this can use some clarification.

5k per town upgrade is too low.

Should be more expensive as the guild/clans get larger.

As for guild/clan outposts, how about making it possible for clan members to gate to those outposts through portals inside their hometown, bringing in a Home Town potion to return there ?

I would like to be able to see all my clan members.

as if we were all grouped

would make things much easier, when taking clan photos.

i like all the ideas so far.





Any preminitions on when this could be implemented?




Stop spamming thread, only post your clan ideas/suggestion, you guys are making it more and more dificult to read evrything.

To get to your clan or guild you must go to your clan or guilds hometown. Than you go into town , and back to where the church is. To the right of the church entrance possibly another doorway which leades to "Guild/Clan Entrance". If you are not in your clans hometown a error message should say something along the lines as :

"This town is currently not your Clan's Hometown, please ask one of your Clan members which town is your hometown and please go there to access your guild/clan".

But once you enter the doorway possibly a few more doorways such as

"Clan Info"

Here it will contain :

- Member list
- Clan name and Tags
- Clan Bank amount
- Alliances and
- Etc.

"Clan Shop"

- Buy clan items and etc.

"Clan Vault and Bank"

- Donate items to your Clan vault, and view what is currently in the vault
- Donate gold to your Clans bank, and view what is currently in the vault.

Possibly a weekly report of who donated what into the clan bank so leaders, can set weekly dues such as 10 gold per level donated to clan vault or something and can follow up on donations..

"Clan Battles"

View offers for Clan Battles , Clan vs Clan.
Set up offers, accept offers.
Set options such as amount of players, limit to player levels, time, etc.


And any other places people would like to add.

Possibly a set Clan Hometown, and ability to set up two outpost in other towns?


Members can use the out post to teleport/gate with some type of fee to your clans hometown, and when at your clans hometown some fee too gate/teleport to one of the outposts of your choice.

I think the need for a uniqe Clan symbol is inorder

can either have a choice for it, just like in character faces / backrounds

or it can be custom.

A one's clan road to glory to become number 1 clan should be not only in clan wars/clan duels wins. But in general experience recieved from players that are members of that clan.

That way a, say, 10% of player's general character experience that she/he gets in the STATS window would go to the general clan exp.

This way clan leaders can monitor who is active and contributing enough to clan's exp pool or who hasnt played in ages and just sitting there or is someone's alt.

In that way clans can form a ladder of who's exp is the highest. And Im pretty sure there shouldnt be a lvl difference of the % that is contributed to clan's general exp pool. So all players would see their efforts.

Also that could be turned off and turned on. Meaning that if a person wants to contributed that 10% to clans exp pool then the player sets the switch on and recieves only 90% of the exp from monsters.
