Default Give up on PKing

Well, i think we all have realized that PKing has been a complete failure for this game. It's been quite a while since i've seen a PK that has a history you can't capture in one single screenshot. For example, here is the entire life, and death of the most recent PK:

Since the PK system has failed us, and Jeff refuses to take any action to change it, despite his many promises to improve it, I am giving up on PKing permanently. The only thing that will change my mind would be for significant changes to be made to the PK system.

Also, The Order of Nemesis, which Order I have been the Lord Marshal of for some time now, has been officially and permanently disbanded. The PK system has been an absolute failiure, and we have all quit. Most of our members have in fact gone off to play other games that offer more of a PvP experience, but I've been stuck to Glitchless games since I was 17, and I don't intend to leave completely. Besides, I still have crafting to do here even if no one intends to take part in the 'Hardcore PvP' offered by Nodiatis.

If you still intend to PK, I suggest you do it at a low level. You won't lose quite so much that way.

Exclamation Epic Fail

It's been months since anyons has PK'ed -
And i expect the length to become even longer after time.
The PK system is an Epic Failure.

And in reference to what you said about people leaving Nodiatis to play other games, I actually do play other games just for a better PvP expierence.

and if anyone is wondering what could be done - just check out some other threads, such as " PK suggestions ".

Pking is such a small but important part of a succesfull game.
and Nodiatis, has had many many problems, and many people are starting to react, by leaving, quitting, or phasing out.

I understand, waiting for level cap to raise, runes to be implemented, all of the 100 missing skills to be activated, there are many things we can see but cant use, but me and many many other people have had our fair share of waiting, and cant be expected to wait any longer.

point is, we have waited! we cant wait any longer, boredom has overcome.

World of Warcraft is overthrowing Nodiatis, way to many nodiatins that just i know of have left for WoW.

These are dark times, and we need some light.

I read the storylie of nodiatis, and though, that nothing would better fit that description of the world than to have a group of marauders raiding and pillaging the world. But now, nodiatis is too happy and cryingnub-like. There is no risk to anyone in Nod.
It's been neopet(ophil)ed.

I think I've been singing this song for a month and a half. My old buddy Draix (he was Rai Rai in rwk s2) was one of the first chars to hit cap, and he hasn't logged in two months I believe.

But, remember...

It's clear that a small group of players desperately want the PvP rules to be changed in one or more of the following ways:

1) Level Restrictions - this is desired so a group of 3 can form a mid-level group with high level secondary skills allowing them to equip items far beyond what other players their level can equip and thus be unkillable by players in their level range.

2) The nerfing of PvP perm death - so that when someone finally manages to build a strong PKK group and hunt them down and kill them it will not matter.

Hardcore PvP means that there's something to gain and much to lose - and there is. There will not be changes made to the PvP system that allow for hardcore harassment. There have existed PKers that have gone on epic killing sprees. The fact that there's not a constant blockade of PKers preventing "crying nubs" from ever getting to Stronhad yet there's the possibility of a max level PK group wreeking havoc and achieving legendary status is a testament to the system. Try not to confuse the epic failure of spineless PK's with the failure of the system.
