Default Let's be fair?Trapping = possible dead weight

Basically,I think that, with the removal of a lot of sinew from recipes, trapping has little use to recipe crafters. So far, from the recipes I've crafted, few if any require sinew.
Moreover,a lot of them require other high skills.I cannot train these skills because my secondary skill is trapping.Having lv 20 trapping or higher, seems to be,dead weight. It prevents training of the more important skills.

My suggestion is that you allow a person to manually 'empty' their trapping experience to zero and be granted a chance to level some other skill.I think this is would be a fair decision for those of us who, prior to the update, planned on needing a LOT of sinew for EVERY recipe. Not just one or two.

*Also, the 'empty'ing down to zero would be only allowed once,to avoid any abuse*

This is my suggestion. Please post feedback and any constructive criticism for this suggested change.

Zenga,I'm assuming you need high trapping for enchanting...is it really that important in the skill?

Sinew is 100% agi, so yes ... and there are not many parts (before decaying) or sinews available on the market. The highest trapper (I am aware of) in the game retired for a few weeks. So there is definitely a market for sinew.

Default trapping issues

i agree i think the update that virtually eliminated trapping and made it obselete or rash and not well thought out.....those that have exp in trapping are toast....and have put a lot of time and exp into that skill hindering them from doing other things that could really effect their characters growth...if youre only talkin a week or two of time spent developing the skill its one thing but when youve been working on your character for 6 months and now youre stuck out with baggage something should be done to alleviate the problem please.

Trapping, just like any other skill, is CHEAP at lower levels, but high tiers are NOT cheap... quit whining.

Good feedback,keep it coming.

My main point in my suggestion was to give crafters who originally trapp'ed for sinews for RECIPES the option to eliminate experience and try to move up in a replacement skill.I do believe after reading the posts, that sinews have equally practical use as Zenga and others pointed out. However, the recipe side is still unbalanced.

What recipes so far have you guys seen that involve sinew?Let' make a list and see?Remember, prior to the update, every single recipe involved some sinew. Now,I rarily see any.Or do my eyes mislead me?

~Keep the great feedback coming,thank you everyone~
