I'd like to see this mode enabled for full groups ONLY, i.e., for parties of three players taking on three mobs. It's an incentive for players to interact with one another.

Also, where's the love for the AoE shield absorb gems? Iron Shell, Waning Wall, and Daring... and perhaps new gems would have a home outside of arena.

I like this. It has an arena Q feel to it.

I find the concept fun but I don't think balancing this would be really possible. Either the top toons with their AoE pouches etc. would abuse this and get ahead even further or it'd be used by no one since the benefits aren't good enough. No support from me

basically an aoe dd buff. oh sure most builds have some way to do aoe. but name 1 build that can out aoe an aoe dder. qq dotters outbreak. zomg. still mostly killing 1 mob. archer arrowrain. zomg. still mostly killing 1 mob. optionally you could run split shaft/biblade but it splits your damage. not giving you extra damage. so presumably killing 1 mob at a time would still be superior as 3 different monsters are simultaneously kicking your poor tank's sorry arse. only aoe dd would be able to maximize this efficiently.

seems mostly unneeded in general anyway. it'd make tanks more popular pve I suppose. but just farm high end if you wanna deal with high damage mobs qq half of nod can't even farm the high zones. and there is no zone in the game worth getting all trophies in at cap. so that wouldn't have any real benefit either. omg I still get...50/50 just don't stack. or such.

Just limit the benefit by making it transatory and daily so you can't farm it and make the benefit only apply to the zone you complete it in.

Either (all day bonuses)
Make it unlock a second zone bonus for completing the fight once.
Or (time limited benefits)
Add a timer for a beast gold bonus style buff for that zone.
30 irl mins of tripple accel for example (can't be abused by TC noming)
1 hour of +1 resourcing which stacks with heroic etc
1 hour of a 10% buff to MC or bgt effect

The fight is worth doing then, doing it super efficiently isn't too important and it isn't breakingly farmable

Simpler than my last suggestion...

Each time you fight it, it rerolls a second zone bonus for that zone that expires on monthly reset.
You fight it till your happy with one and then enjoy it for the rest of the month.

Lightbulb Balance ideas

1) Give mobs more resistance to DD damage in Legend mode only

2) Add a few new AoE skills to other builds

3) Put a timer in place that limits how many fights in this mode can be done per toon per hour (real time, not rrt)

4) Add resistance gems, sloth, and taunts to mob pouches in Legend mode only

5) Change AoE DD for legend mode that lets target resist the entire gem for the group like it used to be

For those who are overly concerned about this being exploited... let me remind you of Boog's initial view that this is for people who aren't in love with PvP. To quote Blaze's NBA "If you wish to PvP currently 2 pilgs is par to compete. It's slowly starting to shift to 3 pilgs." Those with 3+ pilgs compete with themselves. For the rest of us, it would be nice to improve the game.

If the top get even stronger in PvP, so what? I stopped caring about their relative performance years ago. If the 3+ pilg crowd wants balance, then let them figure that out. Those of us with 0 or 1 pilg, I have no idea what balance for them looks like. Rather than oppose a good idea, let them find a solution.

OK, obviously I'm missing something. The implication of your comment is that 1 v 3 pve is exploitable ("unbalanced") in some builds in a way that isn't possible in pvp (since no one is complaining about exploitable pvp builds). If that's the case, then I'll back off, but the usual comeback to a unique ability is that there is a corresponding gem/armor/whatever available in another build. I tend not to pay too much attention to those corresponding gems/armor solutions because I just want to play my build. But if that's a legitimate argument, then presumably it applies here too.

Look, if it turns out 1 v 3 pve is not that useful to my build, well, ok, but it sounds like something new and worth a try.

This or similar would be fun, some pvp gears could be used in pve. Group farming could be a thing again.. tanking and healers could have a place in pve. This needs to be thought trough and to figure out how it cant be expliotable but at the same time worth it. forced to be in a group of 3, maybe only works with the newer zones? introduce something that can only be gained in this mode so people want to farm there? like epic potions (SB so cant be sold? or a special resource that is needed to craft it?)
