Default Staff of spoil and misery vs black edge of decay

When it comes to PVE based farming there is without a doubt black edge as a dcdot is ridiculously op. 1 in 3 dots will not be resisted, and with all the double casts make for a very fluid and pleasing kill speeds. Even in pvp against beefy cnt this helps a ton.

So why is it, that this 'off-build' 'non staff' weapon has such a stupidly high unresistable proc, yet the staff equivalent is a measly 4%? I know staff gets a buff from higher cnc, deathflow, and an increase to haste and so on. But a 4% unresitable is one in 25 gem casts. lower double cast chance as well.

I cannot see reason to spend 26m or so to craft one for those odds. In pvp it will be pretty useless as well and there is other more viable lgs to do the job. Last year you buffed some underused lgs, will you consider buffing some other lgs that may be used by a select few people, but in essence are seriously underwhelmed by their lame procs?

All we have is the same ass builds running around everywhere, staff users are underwhelmed by the lower tier procs compared to the dcdd/dcdot/bm equivilents.

Ebonestaff, 1% hit chance. yes it has high stats which is OP. but anyone would rather 10% hit chance other a few extra points.

Enchantrix stave is virtually useless.

Spoil and misery should be closer to 15% unresistable for dots, and maybe to 'not break pvp' have a secondary proc that lowers this to 7.5% or so while in pvp to stop the cry cry.

Ice staff seems pretty solid if used in the right build.

Same as 2H kok, yet you brought out a buff to counter prevents, then nerfed prevents so GG on those who bought this bad boy

Same goes for heal staff(s), is good enough for it's intended use.

Pain and pleasure staff, also a weak ass proc. only 5.5% dbl? with a base 10% from sleight of hand, this is sooo low.

I think there should be some changes made to staffs based upon this since every other build has for the most part a few insanely overpowered items. Any feedback also welcomes. O, would also be cool to get some offhand mage book, or a 'backpack' for quiver slot that lets us store scrolls and shiz so we can get some more tempers.

not too mention the double bonuses you get from equipping archery equipment which you can't use with a staff... even tho a quiver is WORN and requires no hands to use irl, but meh
