This thread gonna be hella long. heads up for every 1 who dont invest so much time into grinding.

so on day 1 i went out bought a meat some flowers and orchids. went out to river of souls and farmed the 1 tile for about 7 hours rl time meat was plarped on tile. about 42 hours rrt. yes we all know i nom tcs. no companions. btw had 8% luck

Day 2, went straight back to river of souls. did about 5 hours rl time, 30 hours rrt. same thing again 1 meat plarped on tile. (both days meat was farmed after reset) no compaions. btw had 8% luck

On day 2 me and glitch had pm convo, he told me in short that its pointless to do more than 10 fights on plarped meat. so in turn i went and bought 11 more meat. scattered them around the map, ended up with 7 in river of souls, 2 in redwood 1 in fungi 1 in canyon edge and 1 in tway.

Day 3. i went and did as was advised, 10 fights on each of these tiles. it took approx 7 hours rl hours so another 42 hours rrt. i have seen 1 companion in this time window. So to put it into terms. Tile 1, meat1, 10 fights. tile 2, meat2, 10 fight. and so forth.

That is 120 mobs on plarped meat. which has been left till after reset. rewarded by seeing a companion which i already have, and failed lg attempt.

im not expecting to see them every 2 mins but we are talking in a time frame of over 18 hours+ farmed "without" tm. i have seen only 1 companion.

when i went to tway. at the end of day 2 i saw 6 companions in the space of 2 hours with tm on. Moral of the story is that for some reason its more benifical to farm a gray zone on tm for rewards.

i dont mind the concept of the grind but either the % chance to locate these things is so small that it doesn't comprehend the numbers that it would take in these zones.

maybe i was just expecting something a little better tbh than what we ended up with yet again.

Maybe the numbers need to be tweaked for the higher zones. or maybe i expect a little to much. personally im gonna keep the 4 companions iv found and use them but attempting to find more is a no no. time vs reward is pointless at this stage. if you read this much hope it helps you. maybe u dont need help and im just cursed.

ur gunna need more then 4 if you plan to lvl them all to lvl 10 cause of the "AMAZING" exp loss when you do a lvl it will go to 0 and you cant lvl anymore

Who doesn't spend a lot of time killing creatures in Nodiatis? It's not like companions are a pilgrimage where you don't get the normal benefits from the fights.

Grind companions smarter, not harder.
