Multi Toons and Toon Sharing

Sharing issue:
I know it is officially legal these days, and terms of use (in the beginning) with every client update are probably either not updated or legalize it somewhere in the end...

Glitchless, is there really nothing that can/should be done to Discourage it?
People take vacations and breaks, don't even play the game and their toons get ahead in the game, gain tokens, ratings, some of them are even OP enough to crush you with those damn biological Bots operating them!
-We got active players playing the game daily and losing matches to people cruising and on a beach somewhere!
-Who knows what kind of deals in/out of the game are made in exchange for the sitting...
-A toon says 1 thing then you discover the next day the "same" toon got no clue what was said or done from his account, and screw the original owner but bystanders can get hurt too.
-Even crafters like DTM get scammed with sitter making a deal from sitted toon, then moving stuff to himself. Then both the original sitted owner and the crafter, who didn't even know there was a sitter on the toon, are in a mess.
-People sell LG stuff for VERY cheap then you realize there is a good chance it was scam bought with credit, sold like on a black market and maybe that credit will never be paid.
Without keeping Excel sheets you can't even tell who is who or what anymore.
-Some twisted people even just continue making new toons, making them pve OP for gold farming knowing it is impossible for them to play all their toons already and this one too, just so they could get a sitter to also farm that toon for them.

Multi Toons Issue:
Not as bad as the previous problem (unless they also get sitters), because with an awesome computer and Net there is still a limit to what 1 person can do daily. And hopefully 1 day they would fall apart because of it...
But on daily beast events when out of a queue of 20 teams about 7 teams are owned or partially consist of the same player, it is just a statistical abuse.

It is not an RPG anymore it is a Dissociative Identity Disorder.
Is this really the direction in which you want the game to proceed?

Does it really matter to you that I choose to have my main sat when I cannot play the game? this is due to;
1. Irl situation
2. Lack of time
3. Lack of motivation to enjoy the game

Why should I cut my income and risk being kicked from LoOnY by not playing? Many people let others sit their toons. It's not like I'm letting abusive players control my account, I'm doing a friend a big favour helping him with his income to help him get his alts and his main sorted out. And in return, I keep my own income and keep RP paid into LoOnY and for face time of which, this income is used to fix up my alt. Which, will at some point have a sitter as well most likely, since I cannot upkeep his RRT.

You make some valid points though Raist, I'll give you that. Some people have access to tons of toons, which does hurt the game when one person can basically have 3+ teams against a beast.

I've done all the work on my toons, I'll see fit to let those I trust to benefit from using it while I cannot get the time to do it. You don't own my toons, so you don't get to say what others can or can't do. If someone has IRL issues, a sitter sorts the toon out to help them and make a small cut at the same time.

As for my sitter saying what he did yesterday, fair enough, I usually have chats turned of I'll relay that to him so it's only me who speaks, but really I don't see why you need to make a post at toon sharing. My sitter doesn't arena my toon, he only farms to keep rrt down. There's no harm done what so ever.

I know this post is not made just because of what we spoke about earlier, but I still don't see why you got salty over it. I've been on this game for a long time, It's about time I take a good break so I can 'enjoy' the game again. Many older players do this, it's to my advantage that I have a sitter. When I come back... oh look, nice gold to get any new lgs i may need!

As for scammers, if you trust the sitter well enough, nothing will ever go wrong. But, I do believe there should be some protection against scamming someones toon if you sit it. I've been banned for taking gear from someone before, TOU changes, so now that isn't bannable. It's kinda a joke, but it is what it is. Yes norm i speak about you getting lucky

It depends on who you trust in the game. There is only 1 person I trust in Nod with my toons and I've hung out with this dude irl before, even my wife and kids have been to his house. I'm not gonna sit here and lie about sharing my toons, but the above me is right, I took a 2 year break (at least) from Nod before I came back, it became monotonous and boring. I only recently came back about a month or 2 ago and am enjoying it again so far, at least...

Also, he pillaged my toons and didn't advance them whatsoever >.< now, THIS I am salty over, but oh well, at least he didn't scam anyone or sell my stuffs off.

There is no real issue with sharing an account as long as it is not farmed 24/7 in my opinion, burning baily rrt sometimes more sometimes less like you would use your own account(s). I do not see that as an issue .

I believe the issue start when 4 people share an account and they farm it 24/7 besides their own account , making that one account very powerful by basically biotting? (bio botting, abusing the tc market in the process)



If they would buy their tc's for the shared in such case with money aka through glitchless it is hard work and they paid for it , with money , time and energy.

If they their timecards purely from AH i believe it will only make everything go up in price and thus creating a balloon of hot air and the market will eventually crash like the stock market and house market did ....

i think mainly Raist refer to the fact that beast is owned by same player/players 9 out of 10 matches due to hordes of teams that spam the que...same valid for arena i think....quite op toons apeared from nowhere at the end of arena to just mess arround with the atending to top ones...when a top 10 one lose to a toon apeared from nowhere that kinda hurt..sad part is that the one who *own* that toon will never face it...so just messing with the oponents rating make it sure hes not easy to catch up...what in my opinion can be considered an exploit

this is particularly prominant on s2 where 1 person is using someone elses toons to monopolise the beast finds/kills 148 finds/kills out of 258..... more than half.this is slowly kiling the server. People have stopped playing because of it and others are threatening to. so for an already small server to lose others would be devestating. Something needs to be done but im not sure what......

improve as I told you?99% it's literally just me and bam (both searching and killing), and he keeps using 1 single melee toon despite having plenty of toons at disposal.the server was borderline dead since I came in november and I don't know anyone who even tried killing it except for bitkojn/needle(bam's toon :^])/holyspirit/boulders/hiitman for a while

if this is what's killing the server, then it's been dying for a long time now, or perhaps...it's the s2 players themselves and no one wanting to start from 0 with no dtms around?at least pale is gone.
