Arena Bonus
Credit to Kael for this idea.
Arena bonus should be based on an aggregate of your past few days of arena, excluding the current day. This way you wouldn't need to arena every day before you farm, as long as you do some arena every day.
I'd recommend it being based on the past 7 days, so that people who can only play certain days of the week can benefit just as much as everyone else, as long as they put in the same number of fights over the course of a week.

For slow effects, use the slow % but as a negative.
Just repeat for multiple effects.
DO NOT multiply by 1+slow% to get your new delay. 1*1.4 is not the same as 1/0.6 and your answer will be wrong.

Mainly, I think a system where today's matches don't count towards today's bonus is desirable.
In order of effectiveness:
* farm first, then arena
* farm while queued
* arena first, then farm
The first and third methods take the same amount of time; but the third is much better than the first at utilizing the bonus.
The second method is what I believe the original bonus was intended for, to encourage PvE players to help keep the queue from dying.
The system of building up bonus and then farming is definitely better for PvP players since they can make full use of all three suits and pouches for PvP, only switching in PvE gear for farming; but at the same time, hardcore PvP players would likely be queuing anyway, with or without bonus.

Just create an easy button to avoid people in the arena.
Please don't do this for s2.

I've never seen the need for a button on dodging. You wanna dodge, you do.
Unless the person being dodged doesn't play except a certain few days a week, how does it make it easier to dodge? This doesn't change what is earned - just how it's used in return?
Some days I have small window of time to play Nod and usually I am so tired/hurty those days that idc to really get into playing. It'd be nice to get a little more chance to use the bonus I've built than just having to have missed out on something I worked for. I support this idea in a fairness sense, but it's not a dire thing either... Really won't change the way I play either way, but would increase my happy in playing if it happens.

for those unable to play multiple days a week etc (some can only play once a week or so) its better to build bonus on the day your going to use it. if you dont wanna build up the day before so the next day you start off with a high % already. this would make those who dont wanna arena for bonus all the time when they only farm 1 day a week annoyed. imo.

All ideas need tweaking before implementation.... if the average is done over seven days of only the days played then playing one day would equal the same as now. Right?
One day played with bonus averaged over one day is same amount. Versus one day played with a bonus averaged over seven days. Averaging bonus over seven days can give you less bonus on a given day do to spike in time to queue, but give more of bonus on another day when you don't have time to queue; however, you actually get to use more of your bonus in the long run. Correct? Or is my math too weak >,>

This is not a change we wish to make. It would add more complication and have less immediate reward.

Too complicated, make it easy so that casual players do not need 40 matches to get from 0 to a decent 10% arena bonus (it takes ~5-6 hours when queue is slow).
Decay bonus to 1/3 or even 0% every day if you like, but make it so that one could get to 10% bonus from several fights (up to 10).
I remember that back in 2016-2017 stacking up to 14-16% bonus was really fast and really easy to maintain it for the weekend in order to farm efficiently.
Some dedicated people were sitting on 25%+ bonus back then, just make sure to adjust penalties to arena bonus gains so that after 15% to up to 20% one would need 150+ arena fights.
Please also adjust the match making so that it takes in consideration how many fights you have left: 400 = highest prio and lower the priority for nolifers with low amount of arena matches left.
Edit:
You may hard cap arena bonus to 20% if you like.
Make Arena more popular by making it easier for casual players, you always nerf stuff in this game based on the performance of truly dedicated individuals.
Thank you!

wasn't there a season where a singe q would bring you to aprox 10%, and further matches increased it a bit more?that could fix for both active and inactive people.

How about diminish gains ?
Now we have 2.25 points per fight then bonus is sqrt (points).
It could go 6 points till 50 ( it used to be 7 on one season) then reduce it 1 point every 50 ?
So 50-100 -- 5 points
100-150 - 4 points
150-200 - 3 points
200+ - 2 points
It may seem a lot but heavy participants won't see much difference (14%+) just resume it easier after weekend absence or whatever.
On other hand those casual or pve toons will have a reason to spend hour in Q for few fights and make 5-6 % possible
For now 1 h Q in average is about 7 fights (S2 less than that) which gives 4% (not really worth it to wait 1h for casual player before farming)
New system would give 6.5% or so which makes it a bit more fair.
I think if old system with flat 10% for everyone didn't broke the game - with new system we could achieve average 10% or less per player.
Just my personal thought as ordinary player :P
