Legendary Crafting sugestions
Since the release of the LG skills release, I've set my artistry to Processing, and have been trying to level it up ever since. Took me 20+ hours and over 1500 items to get it to level 10.
Now, I am not complaining about the time and material consumption. It is to be expected. But, the gains are terribly lack lusting. That skill is probably meant to take, literally a life time to master, so be it.
However, I would like to give a few suggestions possible new effects to those skills, since a life time - 20% of time, will still result in a life time, only giving us 20% of said time, to look back and regret having leveled those skills.
First Idea, is that every 10 levels of either both Processing and Construction give each a 0,5 chance of needing less material while crafting. So, combined and maxed, they'd give up to 10% chance of needing less materials for any crafting/artistry items.
The way it'd work is that you'd still need the base materials to craft your item, but at the end of the crafting, one of the components could have not been entirely needed. So, when crafting a LG weapon, pet, etc, or any other item, LG or not, a berry, a bone, or anything else could be left behind, even the TP, maybe. Since if you get that skill maxed, you sure as Hell have crafted enough to know by heart crafting.
Second suggestion would be for granting a possibility to both lower tiering and uptiering materials with a chance of quadrupling the materials you can get when lower tiering some, instead of just doubling the possible gains. That would help immensely people trying to level both epic and LG crafting skills, since it takes thousands of base materials to level epic skills at higher levels and will probably hundreds of thousands to level LG crafting at mid levels. And, when uptiering, a lesser chance of ending up with more of the uptiered tier than expected.
Again, both Construction and Processing would work together, giving up to 50% chance of quadrupling materials when the skill is maxed, and you try to lowertier something, and up to 10% chance of getting more items, when uptiering something.
