Default Samurai Armor

Why does focused defense aura reduce samurai armor's damage? FDA doesn't prevent damage from self inflicted daze damage... I dont feel like it should halve the damage of samurai armor either... It doesn't even require a target for it to do damage.

fda takes into account at who is the enemy aiming.if he's aiming at your ally, ofc it's gonna be reduced, wheres when dazed your target is "you" (you are the "attacker's" target) and so it doesn't get reduced; but yeah not reducing samurai armor dmg would make more sense, support.unless of course, fda is intended as samurai's counter.

As is, fits how fda works. Like I told someone in a convo yesterday (tho idr topic) damage is damage. Whether a bloodlet, a dot, a flashburn, a crit, w/e... They're all damage. Like shade said. Daze makes it target you.
