Learned Defense & Defiance VS Flesheaters

I have 2 questions and 1 suggestion regarding the mechanics of those 3 variables.

1. Does the flesheater pet ignores the mitigation from the Defiance skill?
Suggestion: If yes I would like to suggest that they should not do that since is a killer one shot.Ignoring an epic skill would be broken since it is hard to lvl up.

2. Does the Learned Defense skill works like mitigation? In other words: can a flesheater ignore the learned defense ability to half the damage increase in combats?
If this will be an yes would render flesheaters as broken, really really broken.

Do they work against the amount you regen per tic or against the regen stat itself?

That I can answer.

They work against the amount of bonus % to regen you have. Like EF helm, timmies, regen runes, euphoric runes. Regen stats have no effect in flesheaters bonus damage.

Both these skills work vs. a Flesheater, since they work on their own and not by providing an actual mitigation effect.

To make this more clear, we've queued up a change to the wording of Defiance so that it says "reduces" rather than "mitigates" damage for the next client patch. Learned Defense already says "reduces".
