First off, I don't like the idea of toons originally created by steam to only be accessible by steam. Most nodders have logged in multiple places. Their work computer, library computer, Internet cafe, relative's computer, S/O's computer if not yet living together. It's easy to log on browser, just go to website, and enter username and pass as you have done thousands of times. For steam, you'd have to download steam on that computer and then log in. Since it'll be your first time logging into steam on that computer, it will want to send you a verification text/email/call to prove that you are...you. Too much hassle. Why not make accounts universal and a steam made account set to the account's steam password by default (and changeable later)?
I know putting this on steam was a marketing technique. Attract even more gamers worldwide, massive boost to the economy and social life, as well as more money for you so you can bring even bigger projects to nod. I appreciate all you have done for us. Thank you for your time.
