Default Sleight of Hand + Resurrection

I was looking through the skills in Death Magic where I find this...

Sleight of Hand
If you have a staff equipped...
You begin combat with your first gem in play.
You have up to a 10% chance of the effects of any gem to go off twice.

I was thinking, what does this mean for Pladins/Priests/Druids that use Resurrection gems? Because I heard from some people how it is a pain in the rear to use them because they might end up waiting for an hour just to draw it after combat.

starting with the first gem in play is great....at the start of battles people complaining are complaining about after a battle so the starting with it in play doesnt play much role...plus is only for staff users so theres that too

you could always use it without the auto cast/use feature and just keep it the whole time. not really a problem for anyone. and if it gets shattered.. have fun deft drawing it. nothing much.

If you're using a staff you're probably a caster. And if you're not joining group to immediately rez you'd have to be an idiot to keep a useless gem out for full fights since it slows draw speed with no return unless they do randomly die. Better to just put 4 in a second pouch and deft for them.
And it would never get shattered cuz pve. Would be apoc.

If they don't use the staff then it's a deft which is all rng. And rng can be heartless
