Default Security Alert - MP3 based Viruses
Due to a flaw in common MP3 decoding software found in such players as Winamp and Windows Media Player (and countless others) viruses are being distributed via MP3 files and can affect even the most savvy computer users. We recommend to cease obtaining new MP3 files until a patch arrives for your player that specifically deals with this issue.

Many are dismissing this as a hoax since a there was indeed a hoax concerning MP3 based viruses years ago in an attempt to slow music piracy... this one is for real though.
