Epic health
I've had a good look around and can't find the info, so I'm posting here. How do you get the epic health? Do you need a premium account? My epic health is about 10% and my hp hasn't increased once. I take it something needs to happen for that bonus to show and I'm thinking that might be a premium account?

Each beast kill gives you 10% more unlockable epic health.
To unlock epic health, you must have completed a pilgrim. Each pilgrim allows up to 20% to be unlocked.
Your epic health is shown as 0/10% right now. 10% is the highest you can get it for now; 0% is what you have.
Once you complete your pilgrim you can do epic tasks. Tasks increase the first number- the one which actually increases your HP.

For slow effects, use the slow % but as a negative.
Just repeat for multiple effects.
DO NOT multiply by 1+slow% to get your new delay. 1*1.4 is not the same as 1/0.6 and your answer will be wrong.

I've completed a pilgrimage and have done lots of epic quests.
The Tops List says that my current Epic Status is 10%. My hp was 9453 back when my epic status was about 3% and it hasn't changed.

Here's the easy way to confirm:
Pick a tempered item that has no Dur stats or enchants. Check HP with this item equipped. Remove item. Check HP again.
Difference should be:
(toon level) x (temper tier) x (1.affin) x (1.epicHP)
As an example, a x3 temper at level 86 with 10% active epic HP and 90 affin, the difference should be:
(86) x (3) x (1.90) x (1.10) = 539.22 HP
Working as intended for me.
P.S. LG is 5% per kill.

Unfortunately, I don't have an item that is tempered that is also not enchanted.

Sorry, worded that a bit ambiguously. I mean no Dur base stats and no Dur enchants. You can't have Dur stones on everything, surely.

Why not just tell us your base hp with nothing equipped, your affin skill, and base dur... I am sure that wouldn't be too hard to calculate from...
Course it would be necessary to know how much health you had at that point too.

So, essentially, one pilgrimage means a maximum of 20 kills in epic quests. That should leave me with 5% epic status that shows in hp?
I can carry on with epic quests but I won't get the benefit of epic health gained from them until I undertake a second pilgrimage? My epic status is 10%, but as I have only undertaken one pilgrimage I am only getting hp from the first 5%?
By the way, I removed a tempered item with no dur on it. My level is 86, the item was 3 x tempered and my affin is 40. My hp is 9092 without the item and 9453 when it is equipped.

One pilgrimage lets you access 20% potential epic HP, which will take around 200 quests to complete. Note that it is only potential HP, you don't receive the actual HP bonus unless you have killed enough Epicbeasts or Legendarybeasts to activate it.
For example, if you have completed the 200ish quests to access 20% potential epic HP and have one (1) Epic/Legendarybeast kill, 5% of the potential 20% will be active and your modifier in the calculation above will be 1.05. If you have two Epic/Legendarybeast kills, 10% will be active, 3 kills = 15%, 4 kills and all 20% will be active (modifier will be 1.20).
For another example, if you have completed enough quests to access say 7% epic HP but have never killed an Epic/Legendarybeast, zero percent epic HP will be active. If you subsequently kill an Epic/Legendarybeast, 5% epic HP will immediately activate. If you kill another Epic/Legendarybeast, the remaining 2% will be activated.

ahhh, that finally explains it. My feeling was that none of my epic hp had been activated and I wanted to know what is needed to activate it. I haven't yet been able to kill an epic or legendary beast only the epic quest creatures. That confirms both that 0% of the potential 10% I have has been activated and that I need to kill a couple of epic beast to fix that.
