DDs got better crit chance (Destruction able to go to 140), even against enemies below 100 (including PvP, which no other build gets).

I agree with sisix , there should be an option to do full DMG in higher zones . amount of resists its good enough - no need to Nerf DMG.

Physical crit skills go to 100. The DD crit skill goes to 140.

And you can deal as little as half the damage if your gem color is not as high as the enemy's suiting. What you showed is that DDs go up a very small bit. Against lvl 132 boss, psychical damage can still hit to the max but DDs cannot.

100/132 is not half- it's 76%.

Let's assume that before the 140s patch, DD and 1H/2H/Archery did identical damage at max skills.

140s patch allows physical damage to remain the same against all mobs (balance). It also allows DDs more damage against all mobs, but dropping off against higher mobs. So physical gets buffed on one part of the spectrum and DD gets buffed on all of the spectrum (to a lesser extent than physical buff).

I don't see the point of the strawperson arguments with skills at 1. I think if we're talking about 132 boss, we'd have basic weapon/gem skills maxed. I'm talking about the max they can go (100) vs the max any skill goes (140).

didnt realise that dds max dmg was reduced for mobs over 100, if it is i support colours to 140

No support, DDs are the most op builds (especially PvP) in the game no need to buff them further !!!
