Arena Season 13 Champs Crowned

Please Glitch, this summary post at the end of season always saying that everything is ok, whose crowned, whats rewarded etc is a nice (PR!) thing every season. Season ends at 6-7th AM here in Poland, ppl are tired and some can't even rest hitting road to work or smth, being able only to check news on forums for whole day.

I was waiting whole day yesterday for a summary of season and have not heard one by now. Was on mobile only, at university and than i hit the road till today.

How about we have 2 different arena types? one regular 3v3 and another one solo, regardless if randomly grouped or just 1v1? a toon can only participate in one type of arena during the season. There are many people that prefer the old 3v3 system due the fact they only arena for bonuses like resourcing/gold/townwalking exp.

Added after a bit of thought:

Just consider it, if it is possible to implement that would attract a lot more participation in arena. I imagine this season the 717 "solo teams" formed and the 285 people that reached 100 or over 100 rating shows the minor involvement of people in arena. Unfortunately we do not have access to all the previous seasons teams but you can easily check this and compare the numbers for active involvement in arena and decide what got more active arena players.

I liked the solo arena cause you do not have to wait for other members to log in. However, the anonymity part was just annoying. Solo arena without anonymity would be great

only issue with running 2 arenas at the same time is the population is barely big enough for 1 season running right now

Felix it would work on one condition: at least x2 of population on s2. For most part of season there were barely 6 people to participate in solo arena at s2. Only during rush week we have seen once an load of 3 matches at a time.

I have liked solo arena, finally I went out with LG. But I can't say that system have everything ok. Daily decay in place of loss punishment was missed idea (ended with 46% winrate - the heck, should not be in 7th place). Hidden rating was not working good aswell. There should be a very complex algorithm for hidden rating to count or even simulate team powers agains eachother to not make us loss rating gains due to a single-always-queued OPd toon on opposite site - and that should be used to balance impact on counter-reward in rating for loosing match.

I do know that without season running it is barely doable to balance those things so i would love to participate in 3v3 as in an quite mature system. Anyway, if you Glitch would like to test new solo systems in parallel with 3v3, I would gladly help you by participation in it. For the good of all.

Standard 3v3 arena won't work for S2 IMO. If we decided to participate there will be no teams to kill that gives rating. In order to get high rating we either have to do thousands matches which is unlikely in old system or throw matches to let other teams get rating so we can farm them which is illegal.

Last season was perfect for s2 IMO.

1vs1 would be best option. Unless you allow co-op between teams and turn blind eye on setups. At the end strongest team will win anyway 😀

But... why to participate in only one type of arena ? Or in 1vs1, or in 3vs3? Why ?
Can participate in both type if u choose wich queue u want ? One option for queue for 1vs1, another option to select for queue to 3vs3.

1 vs 1 can be in two versions.
One can be one match and winner go further... this is a short variant. Maybe no need more then one week to finish. In this case can be 1vs1 arena every month.
Second 1vs1 can be same way like 3vs3 - one battle and winner get rating... and after 3 months wich collect more rating will be the winner... as we all know.
