Cleanse gems that you refuse you use because it doesn't make you a DD user any more. Guess what using a quiver as a staff DD'r would not make you a DD either.

Ok so let me use a bow, arrow and quiver with my staff, all gladly be a hybrid using this combo. You and every other toon in the game can, staffer cant.

Wrong, quad/weighted hits waayyy harder. aoe dd arena openers start 1-1.5k.

no it's not. its a guranteed heal percentage off every cast whether it hits or misses. Watch ghosty she heal 600+ per cast, every time. Even running stalkers and vamp, you lucky to get 400....All melee classes get fangs+ vamp

At one point the DD was enough to make up for these shortcomings. No longer.

So you are saying as the top DDER in game, who has beat numerous great opponents and won arena several times..... are currently unable to beat a mid range dotter and would have to respec, and that the outcome would not be a given.

Everyone is so used to getting attacked or screwed over by other players, its just a hate reflex now. You can't even help it. I sure am glad i didnt post as myself.

The only person who disagreed in a constructive manner was brikk, and cheers to him for that, classy all the way brikk, seriously now there is a veteran player.





Glitch is now aware of a PVP skill/gear defecit for staff DD casters...and very likely some $$$ to be made if he were to rectify it.

Whether it ever gets fixed it or not I think this is a really great game and Ill still play everyday.


Current solution for any staff dd players who:

-want to win solo arena
-want to go PK
-beat a mid tier dotter

it has been unanimously decided by all veteran players:

REROLL IS ONLY OPTION.

IF NEW GEAR OR SKILL CHANGES ARE INTRODUCED, THIS COULD CHANGE, BUT AS IT STANDS YOU CANT WIN HIGH END PVP WITH A STAFF AND DD'S.

OR so we can see an obvious flaw in your build you gigantic ****. You are acting like you are the savior of DD's when this has been brought up time and time again by much more experienced people than you.

Turning off the animation for DD does absolutely nothing other than make it more difficult to see the color they are casting and getting the appropriate resist gem out. It would be utterly useless to shut it off/turn it on for dot.

Again not all classes can use the degen arrow, any non staff user can equip it but it does nothing until shot and not having int/cnc to make it do damage makes it worthless.

If you bothered to ever read the forums you would know that in days past an archer could wield a staff but it was too OP to get the staff bonuses to gems and to be able to shoot arrows. It was then fixed to how it is now.

% wise vamp is better than bloodraw. In order to get any sort of proc to work the weapon/gem has to make contact and not miss/fail.

No one has said to reroll since you started claiming it. You are putting words into our collective mouths because we aren't hopping on the BUFF DD wagon.

This solo arena isn't a good judge of who is OP and who needs buffs. It just shows who the best solo classes are which are tanks, regen archers and regen dotters. Season 12 Tank/dd/dd won arena (according to sis) Win rate was 96.8% which is sure a far cry from the 60% you are claiming. You are being overly defensive just because we are not all flocking to your idea and saying omggreatideasupportx10000000000. Quit playing the victim it doesn't look good on you and doesn't help your case when you cry about being "bullied".

Bring up some real points other than "this class can do X and I can't waaa waaa waaa" and you might be taken seriously. Until then these are the types of responses you will get.

Final note If you do actually say your character name and there is some chance they they can be salvaged I would help you. But I doubt you would even grow a pair and say it.

I have never used a staff but does it not melee like a crusher? cant it quadhit like any other melee weapon? That being said, steel fangs can be used with staff damage. I have seen staffs crit for high damage if the user has enough strength and the right skill.. the problem is a DD user takes so many stat points to be effective.

In all honesty, this guy is a complete and utter fool.. if dd is so terrible pvp simply do not compete in pvp and get over it.
