Default PlaySpan is Shutting Down

This is a warning to anyone with money left on a PlaySpan account due to partial use of a UGC or some other reason should spend it ASAP. PlaySpan is being closed down by Visa, who bought them out a while ago. Unfortunately, the company that we originally knew as PayByCash that provided a great service for us and our customers has been conglomerated to death.

Between PayPal and Xsolla, our two current payment providers, there should still be a means of payment for any potential customer. However, if there is a means of payment you wish you could use that we don't support, let us know!

Why not skip the processors and process your own payments at this point? Cut out the middleman.

Support. I've helped implement direct processors through Authorize.net, Viking, and most recently, ACI. I've also directly (solely) implemented processing through a client's bank account with his bank using modernpayments.com. It's not too difficult to do any of it, the biggest piece is accounting for and dealing with failures.
