You can't draw by any normal means (passive abilities excluded) while stunned. All you can do now is put a gem into play, which will not cancel a stun. This was far more a convenience patch than a balance patch.

Situation in which stun users lose out:
Stun enemy, enemy plays stun immune, stun again but immune.
Before that, there was the 1 in 100 chance of 'stunlock', or getting 2 stuns in a row. However, that would be canceled now =(
I think removing global cooldown when you try to put a gem in play while stunned would've been better, since you would still be able to play a gem as soon as the stun expired.
