Castable buff and debuff gems
Castable aura gems that boost combat both defense and offense through various buffs and debuffs. All would be single use casts, white magic for buffs and black magic for debuff gems and provide either powerful short term boosts or less powerful but longer term boosts.

Focused offense

Dark fears

This gem reduces targets attack damage dealt by 20% lasting 15 seconds upon successful cast
Distracting wonder

This gem increases targets attack damage recieved by 25% for 15 seconds upon successful cast
The example %'s are just examples and would have to be balanced out if this idea ever starts to become a reality, and i also think this idea would be a nice addition to the game giving non and semi caster classes a new gem line to think about with general pvm/pvp combat.
