its called the auction house, but there are never any auctions.
why not have a period of time that we can designate to our items for auctions where we set a minimum amount that we will accept and a buy it now option.
i.e. - t30 dust (4) --------------- 2 days remaining
current bid: 286,950
Buy it now: 315,000
have seller enable minimum bid increase and in the event of the buyer not wanting all of the listed items (depending on the quantity), allow 2nd highest bidder to have them for the same price and so on should they not want them all.
when a bid is placed, the gold is removed from your character as though you had bought the item. in the event that you are outbid, the gold is refunded instantly with no goblin tax or exp. tax and exp will only be provided at end of sale. this is to prevent the buyer from not having the funds for the item at the end of sale.
should the auction expire before the seller logs on, have the item(s) transferred to the buyer next time theyre on.
if the seller does not like the current bid towards the end of the time limit, have them pay 5-10% goblin tax of buy it now price in order to cancel the auction.
still enable current auction method for those who do not wish to actually auction their items. in other words, only have a buy it now price listed.
there may be a few aspects that im missing - all open for discussion.
