Default Quest Buff, PK Legendary Redemption
The reward for completing quests has been increased. You now receive more gold as well as a solid chunk of experience toward whatever learning skill you are currently training. Rerolling and permanent death no longer reset quest progress to avoid exploitation of these new rewards.

Legendary Redemption has been added to the game. From now on anyone who dies as a PK (while in PK mode) or in a deathmatch will have all their legendary items converted to store sell price rather than just being unlootable and destroyed. To the victor go the spoils of potentially a lot of gold - and if the total amount of gold received from automatically sold legendaries exceeds 1 million (lowered from 5 million) then the dead PK or deathmatchee will be redeemed. He will still lose all legendary items and items taken by the looters but he will lose nothing else and find himself resurrected as if he had died in normal PvP and no longer having PK status. Note that the server message about you being permanently killed as a PK will still show but then a secondary server message will show at the end of looting explaining that you had a legendary redemption.

Legendary Redemption could be a boon to max level PKing. It's very expensive and will reward whoever kills you well, but it's better than losing your character skills. While people could potentially kill their own characters with alts after a PK spree to collect the legendary store cost it would still be extremely expensive considering store value for legendaries is far lower than their street value.

My guess is that because looting didn't occur, it didn't trigger the redemption system.

But judging by the portion of your player log you posted, you certainly did have more than 1 million worth of legendary gear at store sell price, and I see nothing saying mob death is excluded.

You are correct enigma. In fact the ability to redeem is the only reason why i bought the exact min amount needed to be able to redeem in case I was killed as PK.. as you can see

While I still dont think I should be at fault for this and lose all of my stuff, at Minimum I should not be perma death and should be level 60 with all my stats and skills still.

"potentially a lot of gold" directly proves the receiver of the gold is a player and not a mob as it would be silly to think gold would be an insensitive for a mob to kill you. Almost as silly as your post. Quit grasping for straws. Be thankful Glitches has been merciful to you in that he has not IP blocked you from both servers. After all you have tried to intimidate players and spoken derogatorily about Jeff. You also claimed many times you have a "special relationship" with Glitches and tried to use the thought that Jeff will listen to you to control and intimidate others.

Pretty simple, I make gold, I buy tcs with gold.
After spending thousands on s1 to get to that ability it is well deserved.

as an old player on s1 u know u could get killed by a mob and loose everything. Doesnt matter if it was from hotkeys or no. If u went there u knew the risks. u could get one lag and boom u and your groupie are dead for example, or even missclick then same situation.
I wonder if i can start asking refund from jeff for all the changes he made to the game in all those years. Tbh i only spent around 70$ on this game. I created one BM now BMs are weak(as i heard people complaining), Jeff changed something, now i want my money back.
The point is that either u spend 1k or 5$ it was your choice to spend it.
Its a very bad position to ask for refunds or to change the game's rules for one player cause all the rest, for one, will consider u privilegiate, and second they can ask for refunds also.
And also its a very bad position to say in front of everybody that u spent a lot of money on either s1/s2 and that u feel u should be reimbursed cause of one glitch. When u play this game u play Jeff's game and u accept TOU and everything else. If tomorrow he will decide only 2 classes will be left in the game, then u have no other option but to accept or quit the game.
But then again u could get lucky, things in this game aren't always as it should be, and he could make an exception but i think that exception will happen only between you and him. If u keep post here and keep trying to get attention here nothing will happen cause he thinks first at player base not one player at the time. And ofc players who spend $$$ are always his first concern. So try to be smart.
Oohh and just a simple advice... its very easy to put one word into a sentence just to minimize your opponent and making him feel stupid/ignorant. You have 30+ yo. Try to act according to your age and nvm people who flame the post cause it could be a 12 yo kid but also could be a 54 yo who tries to be smart.

think he is the only pk to have over 1m in social lgs & die to a mob so if glitch didn't consider the lg redeem beforehand thorin might get his character back just without the gear if this works out for him

A refund was not given. A bug was found in LG redemption causing it not to trigger upon death outside of PvP. His character was pulled from a backup, then killed in the same manner after the bug was fixed so that it would be LG redeemed as it should have been.
