The main problem is no one is in arena even nerfing regen imo is not gonna change anything

Regen is just a means to an end not an end in itself. Why nerf a tool?

it makes it boring as hell but that doesn't mean it needs to be nerfed. perhaps the combat system itself needs evaluation

Don't nerf regen, nerf certain equipment that buffs it 500%. Reg isn't op unless you've got sacrigenesis, timmies, earthfusion legs, etc etc etc. If you nerfed each thing in very small amounts I might support it, but it's only people who go all out on regen/miti that end up super op.

cos it makes it boring...having to wait 5 mins for anything significant to happen is boring. i voted for a nerf even tho it nerfs me and renders 1 of my suits useless

tho an increase in arena multiplier or it starting after 30 secs would prob fix it just as well

Instead of Directly Nerfing the Regen, why not buff something that already exists like the Rule of Law Aura to give players a method to counter? The upkeep fail does nothing when a regen user just gets the energy/mana back the next time around for the 5 second aura.

deft and apoc makes those gems usless anyway...
and yes with enough regen auras and bag fillers you can deft cast regen gems and keep the aura activated in time to grab another one while deft casting dots or dds...
Imo getting rid of regen or increasing dps are the only options... other wise regen with current peoples HP and gear/runes will most deferentially regen back before the next attack..
ALL of my toons use Regen... So ill be getting nerfed to the max. but I dont mind at all to bring some competition and strategy back to the game. Heck i think more people would be willing to arena then as well.
