lg/epic beasts

ok before i start.... this has been said before and tbh we were just fobbed off...... why are 85% of lg beasts out in prime usa time. People are quitting because of this. Euro people have spent alot of money, as well as the us players, and deserve as much chance as the rest. so how about you spread the beasts to cover all time zones. how many times have us people had to stay up til 3 am to chase a beast?
We waited 3 mnths for this beast and alot of players stayed up ALL weekend for just a shot at it. If you want to keep it as it is how about giving everyone an actual time of beast spawn so we have a chance to get some sleep

Agree in part.. the part I don't is that some of us in the US only play on weekdays. I'm on five days a week, for the most part, and I never see a lg beast either. But at least I'm also not staying up all night hoping to see one, I guess.

So what's wrong with a "Tuesday at 2pm" once in a while..?

agree wholeheartedly. they should be dotted about more. not just in 1 time zone. Its frustrating we have such a small window of hope.

LOL!!! Punish the person who has put years grinding many hours a day and pouring thousands of dollars into the game and hold them neck from gambling with the beast because someone else deserves it more than them? Come on OA... You are smarter than this.....

hold on...... we have all put thousands of hours and alot of money into the game not just the 'chosen few'. something needs to change so that everyone gets a fair shot at the beasts. not just the seriously op'ed players who can dump 10 toons into the queue. and suggesting that someone is nbot smart just cos you dont agree with their opinion is wrong......

Its not a question of deserving the prize...there is arena for that. A lg drop to some toons is something they would have to save for months for. You make more gold than me and I am comfortably able to buy each new lg item that comes out so for you or me the lg drop is exciting but not a game changer. A handicap still allows you the challenge to go for it, but might give some others a little more hope, as if it is just on strength of their toon vs yours, ofc you would always get it.

Imo that seems unfair. Just because you kill an lg beast you get nerfed or can't try? It is a rare event that everyone deserves to participate in. Mostly comes down to who is smart enough to watch hp then queue when he thinks he can kill it. That is what Thorin did I think. He was on 3 teams out of 4 in a row when he thought he could kill it if i remember right. If this did happen i would also want that for people who capped their epic health bonus on epic beast.

As for what Grumbly said it just comes down to who queues at the right time. Ayden killed an lg beast solo once because it was just the right place at the right time.


As for the spawn time being announced i support. No one wants to stay up all night waiting for a beast. And as Jaynar said i don't play a lot on weekends either. I normally give up any hope for killing a beast because they are normally on days when i can't log to fight it.

tl;dr version: I believe people should be able to fight lg beast as many times as they want. Just comes down to when you queue. I support beast time being announced & being on days other than weekends.

Grumbly... Show me where I said she wasn't smart please.... She knows very well that I think she is a intelligent person. However IMO her suggestion this time around wasn't probably thought through correctly. You can have the most op person in game going against the beast... Do 99% of the damage to it just to die and lose it to a level 50 toon who has pets on that finishes it with a weak death blow before the screen even loads.... now that is unfair, more unfair than someone so invested winning the lg beast more than once.


Listen you can't win the lottery of you don't play. I play nearly everytime. Also the more money you put into lottery the higher odds you have at winning.... Shocker, I put more money in game than most. If you want a equal chance at winning it, than earn that. I assure you just being a op toon isn't enough tho, takes a lot more than that.



The only unfair thing I see about beasts is the timing, it should have a time frame so everyone can adjust to attempt it rather than staying up hours and hours past usual bed time to fight it. Other than that it should be fair game based on the player him self, with no handicaps

Don't worry, I took no offence...we just happen to have different opinions on this one topic, which makes for more interesting discussion. I would just like a system that is more inclusive...the lottery analogy works only up until the point that not only can you buy more tickets (more toons entered per beast) but also your tickets are each worth a lot more than someone else's. Saying you pay more per ticket again just shows that it's not got the same rules as a normal lottery. Just my opinion on this.

hmm... means the same to me..... now i know you have put an obscene amount of money and time into your toons... and you win or finish in top 3 every season, and like you said the other day you have killed alot of epic and lg beasts but having a rich get richer and a strong get stronger mentality is not good for the game.
i know this is a point that will be debated forever with no real conclusion and we're getting off the topic a little.

All i really want is a more fair setup for beasts cos at the minute imho euro players are getting the raw end of the deal. I have seen 2 epic beasts in 3 weeks (there may have been more that i missed). Lg beasts should be annouced within a set time frame.
