Tempers + Epic Health

To all who should hear this present greetings, know ye that reposing special trust, and confidence in the abilities of Lord Aesonicus, I do allow him to suggest an Idea that shall change the known map.

Idea to allow PVP aspect of Tempers and PVE aspect of temeprs.

PVP Aspect of tempers stays the same. (easy huh?)

PVE Aspect: Allow tempers based on Boss kills. (up to +5 for group(normals) and +8 for heroic. (starting at around 123) for killing bosses in game) Example being kill 123 in a group and you can get an x1 Temper

Solo Boss kills, (for those of you who dont like grouping) same concept as group except starting at the 110 boss.

BUT The catch is each time you kill a boss it Drops something similar to an enchanting stone, lets call it a Temperstone. Depending on which boss is killed it drops a x1-x8 TemperStone. (Must wait 24 hrs before getting a stone from that boss again)

instead of Tokens being used for Tempers, Heroic Essences are used. (5 per temper) so 1x temper costs 5 heroics, and x8 costs 60.

So to temper you must have an enchanting rod, x amount of Heroic essence, and the Temperstone from whichever boss you killed + gold.

For Epic health.

I believe that Epic Beast and Legendary Beast kills should not be the only way to get epic health. I believe the Beast should be a Boss, and be available to kill 24/7. (atleast of the Epic Beast) I dont think the epic Beast should be any easier to kill though.

1 or 2 things

Have a Macro for the beast to spawn as it is now, to a specific place on map (like Castle Ruins) and stays there 24/7 and Auto Attacks and CA's over and over while in combat, and people Que up to fight it. (obviously it doesnt drop a tc) But it has 50 Regen, so after combat it's health recovers slow enough that a team or person can go back over and over until they kill it.


idea number 2, Have the Epic health be awarded from killing the 132 boss, instead of 5% per kill unlocked only 1% is unlocked per kill. And you can not unlock more than 1% a day.



Considering to current Epic Beast fights are primarily luck of the draw when killing it (gear does help and does give you a slightly bigger chance of being the killer) its still purely based on luck of your spot in que. And if you're even online when the epic beast shows up.

its hardly a supported idea when you have to pay people in civil to support it. i read a little and am fine with the current epic health which is unlocked by killing beasts anyway.

Then I must be ungodly lucky to have killed 33. It is about queue positioning, if you don't bother to try and get a proper queue spot then yes it is luck.

No support. Killing bosses is much easier than getting enough arena rating to temper 8x. Maybe support 1% from 132 boss.

I'm sorry to say that but your idea is just silly.

Imagine new server ... it would take a while for people to solo 110 + bosses
it has to be something even low lvl/weak chars can achieve over time lets just make it longer for them.

on other hand on first server strong group can pew pew pew and booom ! all tempers x8 with no real effort.

the most fair in this game is resourcing and crafting as every one can get there over time even they weak.

also pilgrimage make sense if you have weak toon it will take you few times longer but slowly sooner or later you get there for sure

but soloing bosses is just nuts - some classes/builds just can not do it. it would be penalizing diversity.

90% of the time Beast spawns when im not even online. how is that fair rogue? Also Congrats on 33 kills, that means you killed it 12 times more than you need to and are helping keep other players from getting epic health. GJ stand up guy you are.

I have helped others get their kills. Once I got 100% EPH I stopped hunting to kill. If I even bother to go after it now it is because a friend needs help or I am dying for gold bonus. I also planned to get all my beast kills before pilgriming since that is when I would be at my prime. Me "wasting" my 100% EPH doesn't affect you in anyway. I have a plan for my toon unlike you it seems and I know how to go about it. Unlike you I don't have other people run my account when I am gone to get my kills and pilgrims. Just because I plan ahead doesn't make me the bad guy.

If you want to use anyone as a poster boy for stealing kills go after usaeagle, thepirate and indianchief I was told that in my 2 month absence they were taking the majority of the kills and guess what by now they have to have 100% or more. Just because YOU cannot manage to figure out how to properly queue doesn't mean the game should be dumbed down to your standards.

the main thing isnt even about queing. i play this game more than most others, and i still am not online when the beasts spawn 90% of the time. And i do know how to que. i'm usually 1 or 2 infront or behind the person that kills it. And Unlike you unlike you unlike unlike you, is all i read from your post.
