Default Pet haste gem

Could someone do a comparison in dps between the old stalking bm and the new stalking bm using a r5 haste gem please? My brain seems to have melted and I'm getting about 2000% increase in dps so obviously need a bit of help!

To match old DPS, you need 66.66666667% pet haste (if you were already using celerity and aggression, DO NOT INCLUDE THOSE)

to see if you get to 67%, you can just nicely multiply all the haste percentages you get.

So let's say you have 2 koks and a rank 5 pet haste gem. That's 1.12*1.12*1.33=66.84% haste. That's more DPS than before the fix.

For slow effects, use the slow % but as a negative.

Just repeat for multiple effects.

DO NOT multiply by 1+slow% to get your new delay. 1*1.4 is not the same as 1/0.6 and your answer will be wrong.

No one has actually seen this rank 5 pet haste gem for themselves though have they? Sounds like you are getting trolled on its effect.

Lol you guys are dreamers I'm pretty sure it's weaker than that. People believe in everything this days.

How about real troll : a new whip with weak damage that changes all pet delays into haste! Again, not gonna happen.

PS. Please buff DD casters $

Just wondering, where did you get the 66.6666% from?

Before the fix there was no 40% slow. Now there is. To get from 60%(current) to 100% (pre-fix) you need to multiply by 1.67. It's like if you have aloaf of bread and I take half (50%) away from you, you'd need to increase your bread by 100% (doubling it) to return to your old bread amount.

TL;DR
1-0.4=0.6
1/0.6=1.6667
Bread.
