Looting screen.
It is basically a fail safe mechanism for not losing out on chest gold after fights, when you have to go afk suddenly for unknown period of time.
Basically what it does is it does not close looting screen after a set amount of time.
After a short discussion in civil chat this is what I came up so far.
- It should be made an option to turn it on and off as you see fit (this is to address the problem of people accidentally burning a lot of their rrt because they were not aware of the mechanic).
- If 3 minutes pass and someone forces you into combat, it should automatically close the looting screen, to avoid possible exploit of avoiding pk, cb, and whatnot.
- This should only work in mob fights, so it is not possible for other players to hold you in combat indefinitely.
- It should only activate if a gold chest actually spawns at the end of combat.
Feel free to flame, bash, and God forbid give constructive criticism or even point out some other oversights in the idea.
Posts that provide useful insight I will try to address in the shortest possible time, so all bugs can be worked out, and to make the idea actually implementable.
Other posts that express general negativity towards the idea without providing any facts as to why it is bad ("I do not like it.", "I don't want the game to become more easy than it is.", "It's not broken, no need to fix it.", and stuff like that do not count as facts) I will treat as flame and spam, and will not spend my time answering them.
