Default One of my macs won't start
My mac won't start and when I started it in safe verbose mode it gives the error message: cannot mount root error code 19. Do I have to re install lion or is there another mode I can use? It won't boot to recovery mode

So far I've found nothing other than "reinstall OS Lion"

Ok try this, looks like it works basically the same as chkdsk /f on Windows: "As soon as you press the power button on your computer, press and hold Command+S until a terminal interface appears. When you see this: root:$ or something similar, type fsck -f and press enter. This will start a file system check which will most likely solve your problems. When it is finished, type reboot and press enter."
