Dear Glitch, what I would REALLY love to see with the next patch is a moderator for civil. There is so much garbage being spewed and too many people who don't appreciate or follow the rules YOU have set forth. So my request is you find someone(s) to moderate civil and possibly have the power to hand out 24hour squelches for those who constantly break the rules. Then again though, they are your rules. If you don't feel they need enforced then do what you deem appropriate.

Sure would appreciate it aswell! Because apparently asking people to stop talking about the "history" of politics and the "history" of the KKK are reasons worthy of calling someone a douchebag..

The amount of toxic people in this game is really absurd. Yea sure I'm one of them, but then again when you're constantly harassed by a group of people - it gets pretty old.

We generally do have someone watching chat during prime time. They are instructed not to interfere with the vast majority of the bits of in-fighting that go on all the time unless someone blatantly breaks the rules. Shadowhock was civil banned just the other day for filter dodging. It happens plenty, we just don't celebrate it. You're welcome to assist in the process by posting screenies of anything that's truly ban worthy. If it's not bad enough for you to have the energy to take a simple screenshot, however, it's probably not worthy of a ban in the first place.

Just to clear up here ...

Daer had mentioned that someone who he has known irl for a number of years was related to Nathan Bedford Forrest - American Civil War general is what he's best known for. However, he was also one of the founding members of the KKK, and accused of ordering the deliberate mass murder of Union black troops who had surrendered.
Later on in life, however, he did address a women's society, and accepted a bouquet from a coloured lady there, and his words at the time show a considerably different outlook to his earlier life :

Many things have been said about me which are wrong, and which white and black persons here, who stood by me through the war, can contradict. Another part of the discussion was regarding the way that the Democrat/Republican parties were in the Civil War era, and the profound changes that have occurred over the years.

That was all. An honest, mature discussion, between people who care about history, and the various effects and eddies and currents it has had over the centuries. (Hell, I'm British, so have no dog in this fight at all)
At no point did anyone in the discussion insult or belittle anybody's other viewpoint or posts. Probably the closest to it was me, early on, when I pointed out to Daer that if my ancestor was one of the founders of the KKK, I probably wouldn't be making it hugely public.

The discussion only went downhill when Jada started (and I think I use the word correctly) whining about it. The 'constant harrassment' that he gets is, in my opinion, largely of his own making.

The problem with topics like this - is you fail to mention how not only do you bring up a racial extremist group (which was NOT my issue - altho it's not very civil)

My issue was with how you tried to correlate the KKK to the "Democratic Party" - which sparked my asking you to STOP the conversation. Cause I could go on to tell you how the "Democratic" party of that time ACTUALLY is the new ages REPUBLICAN party. But instead I kindly asked you to STOP talking about it. Because clearly history is fun and all - But I do not want you to compare MY political party to that of some extremists.

Point is, it doesn't matter if its the HISTORY of politics - or not. It IS politics.

Sorry if you cannot grasp the concept - and telling me to "turn off civil" and insulting me is NOT the proper way to handle it. Because all you had to do was FOLLOW THE RULES.

You all did the same thing with MoT, the common community on this game is toxic as hell. Why? Because Glitchless felt as if something was no longer serving any purpose in the game? You constantly insult the person who got reimbursed?

GROW UP.

You can sling your petty insults all you wish, I've dealt with it for years. I've held to my word. I told you the PK system was easy - I used it , probably to the best that ANYONE in this game ever has. Had classes changed because I was actually able to make a point to Glitch and show it was broken or outdated. I killed...well all of you in one way or another..

It's a game - and it's quite hilarious how many people actually contact me privately and HAVE spoken to me about builds. The thing is I'm one WILLING to help almost ANYONE on this game -WITHOUT trying to belittle them and even if its detrimental to my success in the long run. I enjoy clean competitive competition - I'm not the one constantly harassing people trying to get them to spark something that I can send a screenshot of to get them civil banned- or banned in general.

Because, Believe me if I really wanted to..I could.

Blah blah blah, Jada is offended by history. That's cool, you're not alone. I know plenty of high school dropouts who don't know a lick of history, and they make plenty of money down at the Jackson's. Just try not to project your own inadequacies on us eh? Love ya <3
