In short fights Flameshot will do twice the damage on average of Poison Arrow.

I wonder if Glitchless misses the days when the forums weren't filled with whining

I wonder why someone else asked the same question I did.

P.S. @ Glitch: Flameshot has worked as well, even though it was far less often than poison arrow. I'll try to screenie it the next time it happens.

Hmpph. Four years ago...no wonder this post didn't turn up when I searched for this particular subject the first time.

This post really highlights the difference between bug reports then, and bug reports now, and the same with questions. Then, it was "how does this work" and "this appears to be broken." Now, it's I DON'T LIKE THE WAY THIS WORKS AND IF YOU DON'T FIX IT I'LL TAKE MY MONEY ELSEWHERE. BUMP. BUMP. BUMP. BUMP AND IF YOU DON'T DO WHAT I WANT SOON THEN GIVE ME TC'S I'LL QUIT.

I can't say it's the reason, but one big difference is that people actually had a game to play back then. What I mean is that there were lots of levels ahead, lots of unexplored zones, lots of unknown skills at 40, 60, 80 to discover, lots of undiscovered epics, etc.

It was known that some classes/builds leveled faster than others, but nobody knew what capped builds would look like. Basically there was an entire game ahead. It's more difficult to complain about a game when nobody knows anything about it yet.

Now, nobody wants to play the game. They just want to power level and rush to cap as fast as they can. Then when they get there they complain that there's nothing to do. But even for people who leveled more slowly, a lot have been at cap a very long time.

I think a lot of the complaining is just out of frustration. There is nothing new for them. Nothing to do except the same old thing over and over. Nowhere new to go, no new gear, only the occasional new skill. So they complain out of frustration simply because they want *something*, *anything* that shows some kind of future to the game other than the same ol' same ol'.

The patches over the last couple of years have been overlays, not real content. Underneath the overlay is the same old game and same old zones players have farmed for years. There is no real challenge vs the map any more and hasn't been for some time. So instead of being challenged by the map, they sit around and compare to each other.

Playing new games is exciting. This game isn't new any more. It's a finite game, yet people try to hang on to it after they've played it through. After they've farmed the same zone for the 46813313516516th time, do you really expect everyone to sit around the camp fire holding hands and singing Kumbaya?

I agree with a lot of what you said, it makes sense for sure. But I still think people need to quit crying and threatening to quit if they're not instantly responded to or they don't get TCs. That or Glitchless just needs to tell them to screw off and quit. I'd lol irl.
