staff users..bow set?

I need to ask why staff users have no bow set...2handed melee users can have a bow so why not a staff user. If a bow set gives some advantage to a staff user I am not aware of then how about at least a place holder of some sort so at least you could temper those spots...losing out on a lot of life tempers that other toons are gaining. 3 pieces even at 6x for a lvl 85 is 510 x 3 = 1530 plus aff skill it quickly becomes 2500-3000 life other toons are gaining that staff users are not.

i notice that some 2h weapons could be swung just like staves would so why not? the mindblast staff is almost like a 2h crusher. maybe glitch wants to prevent exploits or something.

Wearing a staff Provides you many many exclusive skills and many other skills have a bonus when you wield a staff.

It wouldn't be balanced at all unless you cant use the bow so basically only for the tempers and stats but then if you want to use the staff just for the stats as well how do you make that happen? is too much trouble and effort for the little return, there could be an easier alternative

yes using a staff grants lower gem cost among other things, its the trade off.

Basically you could use the staff skills to be a dot caster while using the bow to attack with. Therefore able to cast bladow triggering gems faster and at a lower cost while getting the higher dps of a bow set. As an example.

Okay i think i understand why no bow set because there is an advantage there. But why not some place holder of sorts so ya can temperthose three slots.

how about use those slots to bind some sort of item of power to the staff?

Shields give 20% penalty to shoot speed, whips give 25%.

Set staff as 100% penalty to ranged speed and you have no way to exploit this.
