Yeah, I agree , although someone once told me Onwelfare is a legitimate toon. It has been around for a while. Still seems like a corruption of Hoodrat, though. Support.

Jokes are, and should be appreciated, this is an outright insult to a person. The characters and the owner should be punished for such insults. They are demeaning and very, very hurtful.

Ive been trying to be quite about a lot of things... But I agree, hoody is a good person... yes she talks a lot and some times I want to take off my dirty socks and shove them on her hands so she cant type anymore, but she is one of the good ones that many people in nod have grown to like in their own ways.
I hardly find this as a joke seems how a joke usualy follows with a "just kidding" or some sort of confession following the incident. Which would come to the conclusion, that this is a lash out towards the jealously/hate/weird sick love, of Hoodrat in some form of nature.

At the very least she deserves the right to know who it is that is being out right disrespectful to not only her, but the rest of nod that has to go from t1 to t2....

From a business prospective...
If I were to start playing this game 2 days ago, and I was walking my happy butt from t1 to t2 "back in the day it was a accomplishment that sometimes required another toon to group cause the troll on the bridge was a tough son of gun". By time I got to 1 east of t2 I would see the names such as these and re evaluate if I would like to continue to play a game that may let such harassment like the screenshot that sisix mentioned, happen.

In my opinion, you need to go one way or the other glitch... I think its time you set the standards and lead by them. There are fun and games and there is just out right wrong. Should either be a rule "there already is a rule on your TOU" example "3. Don't be annoying or a jerk to other players or moderators." and "•Defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity) of others."
And "•Create a false identity for the purpose of misleading others." Which this has happened to me because I actually thought that one of those toons, "hoodscat" was hoodrat and I sent "it" messages that I would not have sent if I known it wasn't hoodrat. The face/background is the same exact as hers and the name is so close to hers that when I play with out my glasses on it is rather confusing.

Now I know that many others have broken a few of those rules such as harassment and such but that is because you seem to be 50/50 with it, sometimes you turn a cheek and sometimes you crack that whip. I think for a better game play experience, you should be 100%/100% either put it in the TOU that we can say what ever we want, make fake accounts to mislead and disrespect other players and such... or you keep the TOU the same and you actually stay true to it. You can even pick a date. from now on... You can be true to it. Get people like lurkee off the forums if he knew that his words would have actions.

I just wanted to pop into the thread and say that if this type of harassment is acceptable then I propose we form of list of people who actually deserve this kind of treatment.

First and foremost, if this form of personal attack is alright it will slowly ruin any community that we have here.

It is sad to see this type of behavior in a game that has it's community as one of the main draws and inaction by an administrator would show me that I may have had the wrong idea about Nodiatis. I hope this is not so. Glitchless has set a near zero-tolerance precedent for harassment towards him and I hope this applies to all other players as well when it's as clear and ignorant as this.

All the harasser has done is brought attention to himself, risked his account and brought everyone out of the woodwork to defend someone who has been a great addition to the community. The troll has completely failed and I trust will get the administrative-reaction he is begging for.

You of all people is funny to see typing this on forums....there are multiple posts of you harassing my fiance who doesn't even play this game. If you call for 100% enforcement of the ToU then you should be perma banned as well as half the top nodders who account share and you for personal attacks on my fiance who doesn't even play this game. There are other "offensive" names out there other then these toons you folk are referring to, I guess their accounts should be permabanned as well correct?

Now towards these characters...I believe that they should be deleted by glitch since they are nothing but an attempted joke (sorry if you don't find it funny) by some people that know her and talk to her frequently. I haven't talked to her about her feelings towards it but if she was offended then I am sure the people who did it are sorry and that was not the intention.

It is often difficult to determine when jokes of players are offensive enough to deserve banning. We have gotten into trouble before for squelching characters making seemingly offensive jokes about another's sexual preference in civil chat when it turned out it was a good friend of that person and was not meant with malice.

If you're asking for Nodiatis to become the land whereby political correctness and niceness is enforced with the threat of imprisonment, such as places like Britain where people who tweet slurs actually go to jail, that is not going to happen. In an online game, a PvP game especially, people are going to be mean to each other on occasion. If they cross the invisible line as did this person then they'll be punished, but we'd rather that line be further than closer.
