no support, he is entitled to free speech as much as anyone else, and until he does something that glitch deems ban-worthy i dont see any reason for a petition.

of course when he does do something ban-worthy you can use the ! button on the bottom left of the offending post, which will notify glitchless of a breach of the terms and conditions

These are the last few posts I went through, sorry, some of those were on a locked thread and couldn't be quoted. But you see my point? That was easily half of his last page of posts. Having given up on trying to report people long ago, I still think this one is worthy of a ban.

In addition, I've reported many, many people who said "retard" or "retarded" in civil and was always told it's not uncivil. While I understand I'm not a mod here, I don't really appreciate seeing people get away with such a slur that offends me personally, but one person can't because it's directed at Glitchless. With respect, I submit that it should be all or none in this case. Ban or no ban, not pick and choose. Thanks

*shudders* That typo gets to me too. But I agree with the point enough to get past it.

I would actually like to see more done to discourage ANYONE who uses ad hominem attacks in civil or in forums. It only inflames issues that are already contentious. It's not about freedom of speech, which even if it applied, should not be invoked to justify disorderly conduct.

"Your right to swing your fist ends just where my nose begins." That applies to everyone, and is too often forgotten.
