Players banned for Arena Collusion

Costeak, Smertnik, and Alhimyk (and several other characters who are shared among them) have been permanently banned for offering bribes in return for another team allowing them to win as opposed to more likely drawing in arena matches.

Every season we warn about this sort of behavior, and every season it seems some top level team cannot resist the urge. Match fixing ruins the integrity of the arena system and we have no tolerance for it in Nodiatis.

Just a question: if 1 player was to offer this behind the back of his 2 teammates, would the 2 unknowing players get banned as well?

If we believe the person is acting alone the only that person will be banned. If we can see proof, as was in this case, that the other teammates were at the very least aware of the actions of their teammate and remained teamed with him, then they are also banned.

Obviously we don't wish to ban any players as it always stirs up a storm and lowers morale, but we also made a promise to our players not to allow any manipulation in arenas, and when given the chance to put an end to it, we will not hesitate. Our staff is made up of competitive gamers as well, none of whom are allowed to play Nodiatis, but have played in arenas in other games and seen them completely ruined by this sort of behavior, so we really have no sympathy for those who engage in it.

the other 2 would have to end an email to glitch and prove they were not involved in this and try to get unbanned i think.

Are you going clear the rest of the banned toons from tops lists? Clan rosters etc?

I can say glitch that I don't have a dog in this fight. You can easily check my IP and see i will never have a toon on even a top 10 team. I don't know or care about anyone involved in this.

It is absolutely insane to assume that if you were on an arena team and heard a teammate talking about "getting that team stop putting sacrigens in play for a TC" that you would just leave that team. People Joke about stupid stuff all the time. If I were on a top 100 team I would want some kind of PROOF that my teammate tried something like this before leaving.

Your basic assumption here is seriously flawed. I don't care about these players but assigning guilt by association is a much better way of turning off players to your game than having one component of it that could be exploited. Better to err on the side of sanity.

Just my two cents.

Let`s be honest lurkee, you can`t be in "us". If you`ll ever get banned the rest of them will also be happy that they got rid of you.
I`m just putting some facts, for others that are small "lizard brain" ( glitchless`s word) that it is a shame that the only reason found was to win faster.
They are my buddies and i back them, of course. It seems like we will still be a mistery for nod, as you "think" when it comes to me.

Hold up.. "win faster".. the possibly wouldn't win AT ALL without this so.. please get a brain..as if having 5-6 people playing the teams for 18-24 hours a day wasn't enough?
