A paradox on travel mode

This makes no sense, why do you get reduced experience crafting in travel mode???

If you have travel mode, it means you already have grinder, which means you don't lose rt for regening mana/energy. So why are we getting reduced exp when crafting in travel mode???

Emilia is correct, Rogue. If you have prem and grinder, you can craft, change suits (losing HP, energy, mana, or gaining them), and it does not cost any RRT, whether TM is on or off.

And yes, it does seem to be an odd situation. The only possible reason I can think of is that the timer for switching TM on or off would possibly give an exploit of some sort. Exactly what though, I'm not sure.
Or it might be something from when the game was first designed, before all the upgrades were fully set up.

That last sentence should be the answer i reckon. But you can stay in travel mode while premium has ended and thus you can craft without using rrt/rt without renewing your paid account with premium. That can be seen as exploit tough. But considering you can not trade as non-paid it is minimal. You can travel between towns without using rrt though and not being paid. That is an exploit but off-topic yet related to the function of grinder. To adjust this it will most likely take up a lot of manhours to do so. I am not sure how grinder is coded and implented exactly as I am not a game-designer.

So my question to Glitch :

Would it be difficult to adjust this or renew or update?

You used to be able to keep TM on when prem ended, however that got patched quite a long time ago.
