Same now actually...
Appears There are at least 4 hops down between me and the server... Tried using a proxy to bypass this route table but alas did not fix my problem either.

If anyone else is having issues with time-outs etc, try using a proxy to get around the bad routes... worked for me.

Take out the cartridge and blow into it. Maybe try cleaning the terminals with a soft brush. Then hit re-set and try again.
